TKC MUST SEE!!! VICTOR & PENNY PLAY FOR KANSAS CITY TOY TRAIN STREETCAR!!!

Credit where it's due . . . The Kansas City toy train doesn't is chugging along with declining ridership numbers, solid voter opposition and so sign of help under the Prez Trump Administration.

Still, local faves Victor & Penny played for an adoring crowd this afternoon and everybody seemed to have a great time whilst enjoying their unique musical offerings.

While this might confirm some suspicions that the streetcar is just touristy frou-frou . . . For awhile, it provided some welcomed local entertainment downtown.

You decide . . .

  1. TKC, you are missing the point. This is nice but they could perform on a bus and save the taxpayers $150-million and counting.

  4. Should have played Eric Clapton “Train to Nowhere”
    The days are numbered
    The nights don't matter now
Your time is no longer counted
This train has got you now
With some bulk, can't get off
    The pistons fates for you
There'll be no friends with you now
The ride is just for you
    Train that goes to nowhere
    You can ride
    You can ride

  8. 10:03 Fleetwood Mac has long been dismissed as uncool by the small-batch pourover coffee crowd; and yet I posit that their album Tusk is a bold statement by a band that is really feeling their experimental and dare I say psychedelic oats.

  9. If you can't pack stadiums this is one of the few options left.

  10. You can't take a NYC subway anywhere without having to put up with panhandlers spouting sob stories, off-key singers and ghetto acrobats, all trolling for tips. Is that where the trolley is headed? Maybe, if ridership ever increases to the point where that would be profitable.

  11. The Millennial hipster streetcarters aren't listening to these singers since they'd have to take their earbuds out of their ears for a few minutes.

  12. When the novelty wears off, turn the streetcars into entertainment venues.

  13. Word has it he inappropriately bumbed her with his guitar, but the KC railroad is going to settle out of court after he agrees to have his nads removed.
