We're not quite ready to get started this Monday morning because our Sunday spate of coverage is already more gully than anything else out there . . . Still, for right now we want send a shout out to our blog community and share an important document that deserves consideration.
To wit . . .
SPECIAL THANKS TO AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS . . . CHECK THE #NEWKCI MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING!!!
There aren't too many surprises here but the sketchy language is worth a peek for anybody wants to see how KCMO will handle the biggest public works project in a generation . . .
Some highlights that we've talked about but deserve another mention:
- The promise here for 35% minority & women biz participation earns a lot of ink in this agreement.
- The initial price tag is 1-BILLION dollars.
- Read this thing closely, and there is sure to be disagreement on this one, but KCMO is on the hook for about $20-million up front so that nonsense about taxpayers not paying a dime was nothing more than a 12th & Oak fabrication.
And the hits keep on coming . . .
One of the most KICK-ASS Insiders seyz:
"Here ya go, this is Kansas City selling our souls . . . "
The reality is that this could be the biggest giveaway in KCMO history.
Let us know if you see any more fun stuff in the dox.
Developing . . .
KC getting ripped off again.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sly!
Just change the current airport so that getting in you have to enter at one end or the other but that you can still exit quickly.
ReplyDeleteSylvester "Sly" International walks into Rev Preacher Cleaver seat in the house.

ReplyDeleteas ALWAYS...the "Devil is in the Details"...
WHY? NOBODY WANTS TO COME TO THIS DUMP!
ReplyDeleteGive it a rest, will ya, Tony?
ReplyDeleteThe 35% minority part cracks me up, you can’t find 35 blacks with the will or the skill to work that hard! Lmao!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like we’re leasing the airport when it’s built
ReplyDeleteWhen the zoo got built several ex council members and former has beens started company’s with their wife’s names on the llc and folded their company’s the day the work they completed was signed off. They weren’t responsible for any warranty work after that so when stuff broke down weeks later the zoo had to pay for it to get fixed, I know, I was there
ReplyDeleteThis thing is so small it fits where terminal a sits, what a joke! Lmao@!!!
ReplyDeleteYeah, sure, we are going to see a great number of black people on construction sites - cause, you know, they have a great deal of experience from the ground up on construction sites.
ReplyDeleteNot a chance.
Blacks don't show up on construction sites, with very, very, very few exceptions.
30 plus years in construction, homes, industrial etc.
They don't show, it is hard work and in a sense, a delicate dance, where you must know what you are doing, where you can go and do it safely so you don't kill anyone else on the site.
Lazy blacks are not wanted there for good reason. If they show up, you have to hide them in right field and throw inside pitches all day.
What will happen, is just what 7:08 said will happen. Phony companies will be created to benefit the insiders "In The Know" at City Hall and on the East Side and the tax payer will get fucked as usual.
The Local "Deep State" will put it deep up your ass.
Sly, You have some 'splainin' to do!
ReplyDeleteIt will be fun checking the LLC’s on the States website since it is now required to have actuall real names, addresses and I’m not sure about this part a contact number, let the fun begin!!!
ReplyDeleteThe "new airline agreement" is where the airlines get total control of the airport. We have indeed sold out the greatest asset K C has. What a sad day for our City.
ReplyDeleteDid we have a murder in midtown? Shouldn’t we be talking about that?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately @9:08AM it is not a requirement to have the actual Owner's name and info on the bus reg. There are companies who act as the registered agent for the LLC. But as a private company, they do not have to list any of the actual Owner's information unless ordered by a subpoena. So, while most of us have our own names, be sure that the grifters in City hall will go the circuitous route and hide their actual information when those LLCs start popping up.
ReplyDelete9:10 and don’t forget, they make all the money from the airport but the city has to spend our money to maintain it. This new airport won’t last as long as the old airport so it probably wont be paid off when they start screaming for a new one. Good news is sLIE won’t be around then!
ReplyDeleteDEEP STATE AT WORK
ReplyDeleteKick-ass TKC insiders....geezers who shit themselves regularly. What a joke!
ReplyDeleteTonys kansas city readers knew before the vote. .There were some in denial. IT'S THE OLD KANSAS CITY SHUFFLE. .IN THE FUTURE K.C.MO.TAX BASE WILL SHRINK. AND THE CHICKENS WILL COME HOME TO ROOST. .
ReplyDeleteMost if not all of you pinheads don't even understand the MOU, so zip it.
ReplyDeleteWho cares. The old airport is a dump. We needed a new airport 15 years ago. This one is the biggest pile of junk in the country and i fly all the time. Its an embarrassing entrance into the city.
ReplyDeleteFuck airports and fuck these sweetheart contract deals
