A look at "density" near downtown Kansas City gone wrong and a real world sign that real estate speculation isn't working. Take a look:
One injured in downtown Kansas City building fire
Kansas City EMS transported one man to an area hospital after a building fire in downtown. Firefighters got the call just before 9 p.m. Friday. When fire crews arrived they saw heavy smoke coming from a vacant two-story building near 19th and Main.
Tony I don’t know if you know this or not but it caught fire again this morning, twice in less than 12 hours
ReplyDelete^^^ Condo fire sale?
ReplyDeleteVacant buildings along the streetcar route?
ReplyDeleteImpossible!
Surely there's another "developer" with no money but big big ideas somewhere who can parlay this into another taxpayer-funded dream.
Go see Sly right away. After the latest turn in the airport fiasco, he really needs a "win"!
Urban renewal at no cost to tax payers? Probably is a crime in Slyville.
ReplyDeleteGet used to it America This Is The New Normal ex President Obama promised us. This homeless explosion happened during the eight years of the Obama Administration but yet nobody in the the media will admit it. But after Jimmy Carter left office his homeless problem became Reagan's just as Obama's homeless problem is now Trump's problem so once again a Republican president it's going to have to bail them out of the bucket of shit the Democrat president put them in..
ReplyDelete^^^^^Does have a point there
ReplyDeleteStreetcar suspends service while KCFD battles fire. Why didn't they just drive around it ?
ReplyDeleteRaise the rents that will drive out the homeless.
