Kansas tax collections $8.3 million more than expected in November

State government in Kansas received $8.3 million more in revenue than analysts anticipated for November to reinforce double-digit percentage growth in collections tied to an income tax hike passed by the Legislature to balance the budget. The Kansas Department of Revenue said Friday the state treasury drew $458 million in November, which was nearly 2 percent above a projection recently revised upward.

    Does this mean that the Laffer Curve actually has two sides, and that it IS possible to cut taxes too deeply and hurt the Economy?

  5. 10:06 we had the largest tax increase in state history last year dip shit. Of course revenues are up. That and every single piece of property in the state was reevaluated and guess what? They went up! I know what a shock. My property taxes went up 12% this year and 9% the year before. No fucking way can I sell my house for what Kansas says it's worth.
