Jackson County Jail Task Force Considers Prison Industrial Complex Alternatives

Important review in the first steps at fixing the human rights crisis at the Jackson County Jail. Checkit:

Jackson County Jail Task Force Will Look At Alternatives To Incarceration

The Jackson County Jail Task Force appointed by County Executive Frank White will spend a lot of time looking at alternatives to locking up people. The panel's first meeting Wednesday had a Jail 101 component.

We already have an alternative to incarcerate. Her name is Jean Petersucker Baker, the worst prosecutor ever. She makes sure everyone gets probation

We have another alternative: the death penalty.

What a giant waste of time. This is how Frank White deals with a crisis, appoints a task force to a study the problem six months? The building's all but on fire and Frank wants to study whether or not to turn on the water hose.

7:36 Yes, by all means, let's skip trials and go straight to executing people for every crime they might be being held for in the county lockup.

Frank learned well from his predecessor. Mike Sanders appointed the same kind of bullshit task force a couple of years ago, with some of the same bullshitters on this new task force. I wonder if Mike taught Frank about money laundering too.

Where the fuck is Sheriff Joe? Enough of this mamsey pamsey libtard bullshit already.

^^^ 9:24 Right on. Let's lose millions more in lawsuits like Sheriff Fucknut cost his county in Arizona.

But I am all for turning oversight of Jackson County jail over to the sheriff. Frank White isn't qualified to run a damn think.

@9:32 How is Mike Sharp qualified to run a jail. Neither he nor his deputies have ever worked in a jail. Frank has appointed qualified professionals. They’ve been on the job since the first of the month. Major changes at the jail. The Sheriff has a sexual harassment trial to worry about in January.

Judges give probation not prosecutors

^^^ No away Frank's little minion. Go away and take Frank with you.

10:55 Please. Frank White had to be dragged kicking and screaming to get rid of Joe Piccinini. The lady he's put in charge has never run a jail this size and she didn't even know the capacity of the county lockup even though she had already been working there for months. I remember Frank White shrugging off one inmate's rape as "old news" and then denying there's a crisis by saying shit like "stuff happens in a jail." Now he's dragging his feet more with this task force. He's got blood on his hands if more guards or inmates are assaulted in the 6 months this farce is going on.

The alternative to jail time that they will finally settle on will be to let the perp go on his own recognizance. Of course he will engage in more mayem while he's loose, but at least the county's numbers will look better, and really that's all that counts.
