TOPEKA, Kan. - A spokesman for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell says Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback's nomination for an ambassador's post is set to return to the White House. 1. Dave Helling said it best on Week In Review, The Senate has a Republican Majority and could have confirmed Brownback in ten minutes, easily.

The fact that they chose not to do so shows just how much trouble Brownback is in with other Republicans, and the question now is whether this issue is important enough to Trump for him to risk yet another conflict with those Senate Republicans.

  2. Where are you conservatives? Does this position in the government sound like it needs to exist? Sounds like a waste of money to me.
