TKC TOP ECHELON INSIDER FRIDAY FAIR WARNING: CHEAP 'PLASTIC & GLASS' BUILDING TRENDS THREATEN KANSAS CITY NEW AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION!!!

Kansas City voters desperately wanting a new airport might be disappointed with the quality of their billion dollar surprise.

Accordingly . . .

AWESOME TOP ECHELON INSIDERS WARN OF CHEAP "PLASTIC AND GLASS" AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION TRENDS NOW THREATENING KANSAS CITY!!!

Here's the word . . .

"Everybody loves new drawings but, the fact is that, we're going to be replacing some very solid concrete structures with nothing more than plastic and glass boxes glued together and framed by Chinese steel. That's how airports are built today. That's how construction companies make their margins."

This concern comes as skeptics of the plan warn about Terminal A infrastructure problems soon to confront Kansas City . . .

"Terminal A, which was to be demolished first, is the primary source of electrical and water lines for all three terminals."

And despite campaign promises or union assurances . . . Chinese steel is used to build most new structures in the USA. The new LaGuardia uses cheap steel from across the world despite the fact that their $4-BILLION renovation STILL hasn't solved the problem of long lines.

Despite constant warnings . . .

ARE KANSAS CITY POLITICOS AND UNION HONCHOS WILLING TO PROMISE VOTERS THAT SKETCHY CHINESE STEEL WON'T BE USED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW AIRPORT???

Probably not, or at least not in writing.

And so, in Kansas City a solid concrete structure that stood the test of time for generations will now be replaced by a disposable plastic, glass and foreign steel building that cost more than a BILLION BUCKS but is ultimately cheap.

Developing . . .

  1. Hey now!

Troy promised me that the construction process was going to go smoothly.

We've all seen how great trash removal and street repair is moving along. Why worry?

    1. I see what you did there and it reminded me to call 311 this year and wait until I see a response sometime around election. One of my favorite annual traditions.

    2. The new Chili's is going to be so fun. I bet we hit 30 million tourists by next week.

  2. I'm not worried at all. All of President Trump's hotels are built with Chinese steel. MAGA!

  3. The saving grace in all of this is that it will be named after Mayor Sly James so it will be his legacy whether he likes it or not. And we can already start building a new one 5 years from now.

  4. The bidding process was corrupt. I don't remember anyone ever saying that electrical and mechanical going through terminal A would be a problem, we have had 4 years of discussion. KC is the City that works. World class streets, schools, police and of course snow removal. Economic development projects exceeding revenue projections and of course 25 MILLION tourists. A new amusement ride that cost $100 million dollars for 2 miles. What could go wrong?

  5. 10:11, yeah, we bought a pig in a poke. Who knows what it will turn out to be, but it won't be a pig.

  6. Maya Slick J's Killa City International!

  7. The utilities will need to be moved from terminal A. That will be reclassified as infrastructure to be paid for by your GO Bond money!!

  8. Go Bond blah blah blah

  9. This will be just like pretty much everything else with KCMO government, only bigger and more expensive.
Keep in mind that how "projects" are actually done, operated, or maintained isn't at all important and no one at 12th and Oak pays the slightest attention to those aspects of spending your money.
What IS important to Sly and the gang is that the terminal project has been approved, the right insiders and contributors have been given their places at the table, and soon the money, in this case well over a billion dollars, will be flowing through the halls at city hall.
Like some commentators on this blog like to say, "See you at the groundbreaking", as though they had already gotten their money's worth.
    This carnival has barely begun.

  10. This is the dumbest shit I've ever read on here, and that's saying something. Terminal A hasn't been functional for years. You really think there's NO WAY TO FLUSH A TOILET IN TERMINAL B WHILE TERMINAL A (WHICH IS ALREADY FUCKING CLOSED) IS BEING TORN DOWN???

    ReplyDelete
  11. @ 11:26, let me try to explain this in a way you can understand.

If someone comes downstairs where you live and has to shut off the water to the house because you clogged up your toilet, you can't go upstairs to Mommy's Bathroom and flush the toilet there more than once.

See how it works? No? Still not clear? Okay, just relax, calm down, it'll be alright.

  12. I’m amazed but not surprised that this idiots didn’t know the electrical ran through this building, this is the city in a nutshell, no one has an effing clue that runs killa city.

By the way, terminal a is being used by sLIE, the chiefs and the royals so they can avoid the commoners.

  13. But your TOP ESCHELON insiders are almost always wrong or grinding away at their own loser agenda.

  14. There you go again, stating something unequivocally as fact when it probably isn't...because as the comment actually started with "It appears that..." Terminal A, which was to be demolished first, is the primary source of electrical and water lines for all three terminals.

Hey Tony! IT APPEARS THAT you ejaculate dogs by hand.

    Run with that fact.

  15. Each terminal has its own separate utilities, in case one terminal had to close. Duh.

"It appears that" somebody is pretty gullible.

  16. There is no way this won't get fucked up

  17. I stated that earlier in the year not to mention the building flaws the new airport will have. High winds straight line winds during a storm. The old turnamals have withstood many storms

  18. I really hope to see all those that voted no standing out in front of the new terminal with "Not My Airport" signs

  19. There are great common sense comments on hear then there are those that don't have a clue.THE information is out there check it out before you comment. They are building through away buildings.these days Just like cars houses. I will give it 15 year's or less. And we will need a new airport because of bad construction and materials. .

  20. Nice, chinese steel to be handled by illegal alien mexicans.

  21. Like 2:18, it will be cheaply built. All who voted for the airport know that. It is well known. These people aren't stupid. The rest of us just have to accept it and call it for what it is. This is acceptable behavior in America. Management has approved.

  22. Watch that cheap construction around the BBQ, they catch fire every 5 to 7 years.

  23. Good point on the Article !!

Prime Examples of Cheesy Cheap Construction are all the throw up Shopping Strip Centers they've thrown up the last 8 to 10 years.

Everything is PRE'FAB Poor Quality Junk these days , covered up with carpet, paint and fancy wall paper, lotta NEW $250,000 to $500,000 dollar homes are like that everywhere, BUT hey they look good for the quick moment, enough to sell, and fool those who are NAIVE about construction and materials, which the majority of those types of people are what we refer to as "OFFICE CLOWNS", those who have jobs that do nothing but sit in offices most of their lives !!!

They know very little about Construction, or materials, or fabrication or Mechanics , so, they are the easiest to fool and lie to, because they just don't kinow any better.

Doesn't really make them totally ignorant & stupid,,, they just don't know their Naïve .

No Different than a lot of us don't know about their Jobs and what they do sitting at a computer all day,,,, well kinda something like that,,, I'm trying to be nice here ,,,,,,

Its easy to fool those who are NOT in the know about particular things like this , those who are not involved or never have been.

Kinda like some auto dealerships taking advantage of customers with Bogus repairs that weren't really needed, or claiming to replace parts that were badd and they never did, yet they stick you with a big fat bill, how are you going to know ?????????????????

unless your mechanically inclined and have knowledge !!!
