TKC MUST READ!!! MISSOURI #METOO DEBATE: JEFF CITY GOP ENABLES SEXUAL PREDATORS IN THE WORKPLACE?!?!

A scathing argument that makes a national scandal local . . .

"This past summer, our Missouri Legislature proudly enacted Senate Bill 43, and Gov. Eric Greitens cheerfully signed it into law. What does it do? It completely shields sexual predators at work . . . Under Missouri’s new law, predators like Weinstein and O’Reilly will bear no responsibility for their actions at work, because they simply can’t be sued any more. And if you are an employer who checks court files before you hire someone, there won’t be any record you can check because individual harassers cannot be sued."

Missouri now welcomes sexual predators

The now infamous names of Harvey Weinstein and Bill O'Reilly are just the most current names on the roster of sexual abusers of women at work. Roy Price, chief at Amazon Studios, recently resigned after a female producer accused him of sexual harassment.

  1. False. Democrat KC allowed a city councilman who sent pictures of himself exposed and harassed his legislative assistant to remain on city council.

  3. There are a lot of sluts in Jeff City. Sometimes after they get fucked and then dumped, they claim they were victims.

  4. This screed is simply untrue. The new law will require workers who claim discrimination in wrongful-termination suits to prove that bias was the explicit reason they were fired. The previous standard required only that dismissed workers prove that bias merely was a contributing factor. How that gives the Harvey Weinsteins of Missouri a free pass is, frankly, beyond me and the 38 other states that have the same standard.

On the other hand, if your law practice revolves around employment discrimination lawsuits, maybe it is time to bone up on DUI's or something.....
