TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SURVEY SEYZ KANSAS CITY NEW AIRPORT VOTE STILL DEADLOCKED AND LOW TURNOUT RISK THREATENS QUESTION #1!!!
Supporters of Kansas City's new airport proposal are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars to push the corporate scam on the electorate but so far their polling numbers don't reflect a decisive victory.
To wit . . .
THE LATEST POLLING DATA FROM FOR #NEWKCI STILL REVEALS A DEADLOCK AROUND 50/50!!!
However . . .
POLLSTERS WARN THAT LOWER TURNOUT FAVORS SUPPORTERS OF THE NEW AIRPORT AND QUESTION #1 YES VOTES!!!
Push polling over the past two weeks asks about the popularity of Mayor Sly & The Council and then touts all of the Better KCI hype . . .
Here's the word according to a local politico:
"The numbers aren't bad, but I suspect the consultants are just telling us what we want to hear. Upwardly mobile professionals who use the airport more than 3 times a month want a new facility. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when they heard this but then they hit us with the bad news. Voters with an income lower than $50,000-per-year were skeptical about statements from #NewKCI, they suspected ticket prices would increase and they had a low opinion of KCMO elected officials. Worst of all, the projections for turnout in the 3rd, 5th & 6th districts are looking extremely low."
Translation . . .
THE URBAN CORE AND THE SOUTHLAND ARE SKIPPING THE AIRPORT VOTE AND QUESTION #1 SUPPORTERS FEAR THAT MIGHT SHRINK THE MARGIN OF VOTES THEY'RE BUYING!!!
Make no mistake, this whole election is a rigged pay-for-play operation and the only good news is that locals are now more skeptical of City Hall promises than they have been in years past.
Developing . . .
The consultants are hording the money. This always happens but this time around it's even worse with no real opposition. There's very little urgency in the #NewKCI campaign.
ReplyDeleteTrue, even Sly has complained about this. And for this kind of money the big companies around town should be contributing a lot more.
Delete^^^ Good point. I thought it was funny that everyone was gushing about burns & mac donating a measly $20K to the #newKCI campaign when they're getting a half a million contract just this week. The back scratching is kind of a joke in KC.
DeleteEverything is free. Please believe me!
ReplyDeleteIt's November. Time to vote NO!
ReplyDeleteSo, it only wins by a 9% margin. That still counts.
ReplyDeleteI’m voting no because sLIE and quinton Lucas threw white people under the bus on Sunday and haven’t apologized for it, that explains the racist all black people commercials, they even have the race baiter pastor of the church that claimed a racist attack in it
ReplyDeleteI heard through the grapevine that Mr. "Sly" owns property that a parking lot is on at KCI. Supposedly this property he owns is where the new airport will be built. Anyone know if this is true? If it is true, this would explain why he is pushing so hard to get this to pass. I bet he would be making a few dollars from it.
ReplyDeleteI heard through the grapevine that Mr. "TKC" ejaculates dogs by hand. Anyone know if this is true? If it is true, this would explain why he is pushing so hard to get this to fail. I bet he would be making a few dollars from it.
DeleteVoted no.
ReplyDeletePolls north of the river show 75% no, so the "chicken in every pot" crowd down south who want everything free is Slie's only hope. Hey, where is my free food? Got free health care, free check is in the mail welfare, gots to keep me happy or I may start voting republican.
The people are against corruption and half baked ram jobs.
ReplyDeleteAfter the swells doing every part of this effort poorly now we are supposed to believe the rest will be done in a rush superbly. How could details be baked if there was only a month looking at financials dimension.
ReplyDeleteFake news. It will pass easily. Enjoy the new airport you crybabies.
ReplyDelete10:54, comments like that pretty well define you.
ReplyDelete10:54 gets off fantasizing he is one of the imaginary dogs.
ReplyDeleteWhether or not we need a new airport, I object to the way the city administration is selling the project to its citizens - like they used to sell snake oil from the back of a buckboard to a bunch of hayseeds. An honest administration would set out all the positives and negatives, indicate its own preference and leave it to us to decide the issue. To the city, we are no more than walking ATMs.
ReplyDeleteThe bear said last week that low turnout means Ward Parkway and Northland will pass the new airport. That dude was right about the trolley and I am betting he is right on this.
ReplyDeleteIn the Kansas City area voting in elections is a very low priority event to do. Now bitching about the out come later takes a higher priority.
ReplyDeleteHow people can not get out and vote while making their voice heard is beyond me. I get so tired of hearing the term, "It doesn't do any good." It sure isn't helping anything when people don't vote on important matters.
Maybe if people would show some real interest in who is in office and what they are really allowed to do, we might get better politicians and get rid of the bad ones.
We need a new airport in the city. Bulldoze east of troost and put it right there. Then you got my vote.
ReplyDeleteKC = nothing but PAID voting.
ReplyDeleteDave NAILS IT:

VOTE NO on QUESTION #1
ReplyDeleteI'm voting yes just to piss off you bitches.

ReplyDeleteVote no to stop corruption and arrogant mismanagement
ReplyDeleteSend the fixer class a message, we don't do things this way Sly
