The Missouri Development Finance Board's unanimous approval of a tax credit application for the project means the YMCA will be able to raise up to $8 million from donors who can then claim a 50 percent tax credit for contributing to the project.

2 men sought in 2 Overland Park liquor store robberies
Overland Park police are hoping to identify two men wanted on suspicion of robbery at two liquor stores. Police said the robberies were reported in the 7000 block of West 83rd Street and in the 10300 block of Mastin Street. Both robberies happened within minutes of each other, police said.

They tore down the old ymca downtown because of low numbers of people going there, and the bums hanging out didn’t help. what makes them think it will improve now?
