SHOW-ME DISAPPOINTMENT FOR PROGRESSIVE PIXIE AS CREEPY MIKE CIERPONT STAYS WINNING MISSOURI STATE SENATE NOT-SO-SPECIAL ELECTION!!!

A quick reminder that cuteness doesn't win elections in solidly Red State Missouri . . . Despite so-called outrage over Prez Trump and his Russian nothing-burger or whatever . . .

Special thanks to a Show-Me State denizen who tells us:

"Democratic Party badly under performs in Missouri. In their big moment. They needed to hold their 44% base and for Turk to get at least 10%. They lost ground and the mailers against Turk backfired."

A look at the haircut that didn't prove successful in making progress for the Missouri Democratic Super Minority despite media outrage at meanie commercials . . .

  3. The real question here is "why did Stan Herzog give 150 grand" to this Hooterville senate race ?????

Why would the Grace River Pac located just a few feet down the hall from Todd Graves law offices throw so much money into a State Senate race ?

Something here is missing. But what ?

  4. ^^^^^It's indubitably a communist plot!

  5. Shields was lumped in with Hilary Clinton by Cierpont's ads - whether true or not, she was dead in the water then. Take notes if you run a PAC in other states, you want to defeat the democratic challenger, lump them with Clinton whether it's true or not. The rubes will eat it up.

  6. Only in TKC do you hear that MIKE CIERPONT is creepy while bragging up that doofus nutty bimbo as viable.

  7. Repubs had to have this one, so they bought it, plain and simple.

  8. Turk is as rino as they come. The plot to cleave off votes from the incumbent rep was a failure as soon as the dems supported Turk as an "independent". If you're trying to split republican votes, you have to put up someone that would actually take votes from another republican, i.e. a conservative pol rather than a lib in repub clothing.

  9. Don't lose sight of the fact that these are the "Announced" Vote Totals, one of the core strategies of the GOP's "Project Redmap" was to load the Board of Election Commissioners with Republicans.

There's been a coup d'état, and we're all too complacent to even notice. Wonder what the real vote totals were?

  10. The surprise, and probably real news, is that Shields did so well in an ultra conservative district. MikeC's supporters outspent her by 15 times and blanked the TV screens.

It took a lot of money (as well as several misleading statements) to win. That's an interesting outcome in such an ultra conservative part of JaCo.
