Kansas City looking to outsource parking enforcement downtown
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - To help support downtown businesses and multimodal transportation, such as the Streetcar, Kansas City is looking to fix parking problems such as enforcement and help increase turnover. 41 Action News first reported that the city was looking into utilizing a private vendor to help with enforcement back in June.
Another bad idea from 12th & Oak.
ReplyDeleteThis is how sLIE gets his spending money, you know, for food, lots of food!!! Oh and don’t forget his clown suits too! Lmao!!!
ReplyDeleteMatt Staub is in charge of this.
ReplyDeleteCan we outsource our mayor and commission. KC might do wonders with some pros running things.
ReplyDeleteKansas City is a shit hole.
ReplyDeleteJust another reason to avoid downtown
ReplyDeleteAs if the violence was not enough.

ReplyDeleteplans are underway to seek a vendor for parking enforcement inside the streetcar TDD. current enforcement is exclusively KCPD and is not going well.

There is absolutely no reason to go downtown, that is, unless you are one of the unlucky people to have to work in that shithole.
ReplyDeleteI do work here and it is a shithole. Homeless and sketch people all over.
DeleteMy favorite memories of this past summer is the homeless "swimming" in front of City Hall and the homeless sleeping in a doorway within feet of City Hall.
I do not even consider going to a concert, movie or any event that charges admission. When you pay the outrageous price of admission you also seem to give permission to be screwed around and overcharged for everything evolved. The price to park, food, drink and anything else you buy. Screw the vendors, the venues and the city, stay home.
ReplyDelete11:45 spot on
ReplyDeleteLet those 24,000,000 tourist pay
ReplyDeleteBack to the Malls to shop .
ReplyDelete11:45 says it all!
ReplyDeleteI don't worry about parking. I park at 3rd & Grand and use the MAX or Street Car.
ReplyDeleteDon’t be so scared of the big city girls...downtown is doing fine without you! Keep hunting the boogeyman in everything and stay miserable-lol
ReplyDeleteParking is not a problem- why else would they think they could put 30,000 KC Royals’ fans downtown when Troy forces them to move?
ReplyDeleteFans don’t deserve the convenience they now enjoy and the Chiefs’ fans can move downtown also. No one will mind walking several miles nor will they mind added taxes... It can all be done for free like the new airport...free.
Think of all the money that will be saved by having $700 Parking tickets and add-on fees of $22 per ticket for any event. The city can have a vendor company charge bystanders $8 for walking on the sidewalks. Since most online venues charge convenience fees- that is what these will called.
KC! What a great place with great leaders and such great visionaries!
