Kansas City businesses are ahead of the national average when it comes to high-deductible plans paired with a savings account, according to Mercer's 2017 National Health Survey. In the metro area, 83 percent of survey respondents reported offering a high-deductible plan with either a health savings account or a health reimbursement account in 2017.

Man found inside car, shot in head in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man was found shot inside a car early Thursday morning near 25th and Quincy. Police gathered two witnesses to determine what happened. The man was rushed to the hospital, reportedly with a gunshot wound to his head. His injuries were life-threatening. Officers responded just before 3:30 a.m.

  1. A friend of mine said Troy Schulte sent out an email telling all 4400 city employees should vote and make sure their family members vote for the airport. They even printed it off and showed me. Is this coercion or a threat??? They just won’t stop breaking the laws to get a new airport
