JEFFERSON CITY * The Republican tax cut plan circulating in Washington D.C. could blow a huge hole in Missouri's budget next year. In a scenario first reported by the Columbia Daily Tribune, a plan to nearly double the standard deduction taxpayers use on their federal and state income tax form would result in less revenue flowing into state coffers.
