KU MED DUMPS OBAMACARE!!!

Despite EPIC expansion and a campus that now resembles THE BORG from Star Trek KU Med is sending word to patients regarding medical cutbacks.

A few FB denizens and lesser social media outlets are raging over this post planted by low-ranking Democratic Party activists . . .

"KU Med no longer available on ACA to Missouri or Kansas (Wyandotte & Johnson County) residents for 2018"

This was actually news back in May when Blue Cross & Blue Shield dumped Obamacare and the KU Med cuts are just part of the ongoing aftermath.

Still . . . Here's the note that's causing Kansas City healthcare complaints this weekend:

And so, do we blame the GOP, KU Med over-expansion or the inherent flaws of the ACA for these ominous notes about fading local healthcare which continue to pile up???

You decide . . .

  1. Personally, I blame the schools.

Social media dwellers don't have a memory and they think everything in their feed just happened.

    Sad.

  3. The "Pen And Phone" President's failure in his ill advised, poorly planned, take over of 1/6th of the American Economy, ruined Health Care, killed the economic recovery and divided the nation.

Willfully impercipient, Progressive press pack dogs, to this day, still defend the Obamanation as if it were a panacea and solution to Health Care problems as it swirls down the toilet like the turd it always was.

The ACA, was ALWAYS about the transfer of wealth and power from the working middle class to the indolent, "Vote For A Living" parasites and their leaders in Washington DC, Hollywood and the 4th estate.

  6. the only people who benefit form Obamacare are those like Funkhouser who are already on the dole.

Meanwhile the rest of us get fined if we don't want to pay for not only our health care but those on the dole as well.

People who work for a living should be allowed more benefits than those who choose to sit on their ass and not try and earn a living.

Kansas University Hospital is no longer "taxpayer funded".
It hasn't been since 1997. Try to keep up.

  14. 1:58, if you are able to read internet posts and comments and react to them in writing, you could get a job. Bad eyesight? Not so bad that you can't see the computer screen or the keyboard. And, the Americans With Disabilities Act requires employers to accommodate that disability. The fact that you choose not to work, but rather get SSDI payments, argues strongly that you're scamming the SSA, that you're just too lazy to work and/or that bad eyesight is not really the disability that got you approved for SSDI. Which is it?

  16. Let's do nothing in this country to even begin to start moving away from employer-linked health care.

It's the best in the world in every category and its cost efficiency is absolutely unrivaled.

    Good one!

  18. You're on the dole Funkhouser, you maybe getting SSD but you're also scamming every government handout you can due to your low income. From housing to food to health care you are raping the system.

  19. @ 5:39 can I come and live on your Planet?

The US has the highest costing Health Care System in the World, and has had for decades.

Claims like you made are all just part of the "MALK" movement currently active in Congress and the White House,

  20. KU Med is doing you a favor. Besides cancer treatment, the rest of the facility offers inferior health care.

  21. The blame absolutely goes to Obama and the Democrats for saddling us with the horrible Obamacare. Most insurance companies planned to quit offering it while Obama was still President. Remember, Polosi, McCaskill and the rest of the Democrats didn't even read the Obamacare bill before they passed it

  22. 11:34PM has it absolutely right. Their primary care is awful. Horrible scheduling queues, inattentive MDs who can't spend more than 3 minutes with you and just want to throw opioids and surgery options at you for otherwise manageable conditions. $800 for a few x-rays? Only decent care I received there was from a LPN, could have gotten better for less at the local health department.
