KCPD Increased Welfare Solution Against Rising Kansas City Crime: Will It Work???

Important deets on law enforcement making the connection betwixt the social safety net and violence . . . Like it or not, that's a big part of the new Administration . . . You decide if it's the right course:

KCPD seeks resources for increased social services program

Eleven months ago, Gina English walked into KCPD Central Patrol to begin her first day as the division's Social Services Coordinator. English had been tapped to run an experimental pilot program by Central Patrol Major Rick Smith, who had been impressed with her performance while both were working with the Kansas City No Violence Alliance (NoVA).

  1. We've already thrown away too much money on KCPD already.

  2. KCPD is worried about their own social safety net.

  5. I used to care more about the safety net, but these fucksticks will kill someone for nothing, all their problems are self made, the ones that aren't they won't get help rather shoot someone to get their aggression off their chest.

  6. As most people figured out the minute this woman was appointed, this is just another bullshit diversion. As bureaucrats work we will increase staff and end up wasting millions while the other bureaucrats act all upset over lack of funding for the actual police work we are never going to see anyway. Police in metro areas are now executive positions that exist to protect local governments, perform cerimonial duties for the local governments and raise funds. Fuck protecting the peasants. Welcome to the new America

  7. Hey its not rocket science. Much of the violence stems from gangs angry over territory. The drug, trade. And people stealing to support there drug habit. And the 30 percent with mental problem's and then you have domestic disputes. Stop the flow of drugs. Is a start have the gang squad round them up. And the illegals that are bringing the drugs into the Metro lock them up. G

  8. How in the name of sweet Jesus is Kansas City No Violence Alliance (NoVA) a success?
How do they measure success by the more people who are killed?
The more people killed the higher the success.
    These people are idiots.

"Fuck protecting the peasants. Welcome to the new America."

It has never been the purpose of any police department anywhere to protect the peasants. Rather, it is their purpose to protect the middle class from the peasants, & be ceremonial color guard for the elite.

  12. This early policing system was modeled after the English structure, which incorporated the watch, constables, and sheriffs (derived from the British term, “shire-reeves”) in a community-based police organization. (Interestingly, the British system developed from “kin policing” dating back to about 900 A.D., in which law enforcement power was in the people’s hands, and they were responsible for their families or “kin.”)

  14. The police don't protect citizens unless it is an accident. They arrive after you are a victim and/or dead. All the probation in the world isn't going to undo that.
