A vote to require citywide approval before the next phase of construction along with Prez Trump pulling funding from transit programs championed by the Obama Administration puts the toy train in a bind. Here's their latest move:

The Kansas City Streetcar Authority will investigate alternatives to public funding for its proposed southern extension, the board motioned on Thursday. The authority will put out a request for information (RFI) to evaluate the possibility of working with a private partner.
