KCPD: Son pummels mom with skillet on Thanksgiving
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A Kansas City man is facing charges after he allegedly beat his mom until she passed out in her dining room on Thanksgiving day. Jackson County Prosecutors have charged Larry J. Oates, 56, of Kansas City, Mo., with one count of assault causing serious physical injury and armed criminal action in connection to an incident around noon on Thanksgiving.
