America's 'Retail Apocalypse' Is Really Just Beginning
The so-called retail apocalypse has become so ingrained in the U.S. that it now has the distinction of its own Wikipedia entry. The industry's response to that kind of doomsday description has included blaming the media for hyping the troubles of a few well-known chains as proof of a systemic meltdown.
Doesn't bode well for the "Trump Economic Boom" in 2018, 2019 and 2020 does it? Cutting taxes on the wealthy and dumping more of the costs of running the Country onto the backs of the Working Class isn't going to help things either.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the string of recessions, hyperinflation, and "business crises" under Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush I, and Baby Bush just might continue unbroken until the GOP abandons the myths of "Voodoo Economics", as the noted statesman G. H. W. Bush called them.
