Dead-Tree Media Dude Kraske Sings Praises Of Kansas City 'King' Sly James

Newspaper high praise of a politico who has consistently won big as long as there is no organized, well-funded opposition:

KCI vote proved that Kansas City is on a roll. What's next?

Has Kansas City ever felt this good about itself, its leaders and the direction of the city? It's possible, of course. Civic pride (mixed with a dose of financial gain) got this city on the map when we beat out Leavenworth in the 1860s to build a bridge over the Missouri.

How about an functional infrastructure? How about a reduction in crime? How about an educated workforce?

  8. So we've proven that in KC it's possible to fool some of the people all of the time.
It's just too bad that the fooled consist of what is supposed to pass for local "journalists" and "reporters".
    Suck ups, everyone.

  13. Kraske is a complete and total sellout!

His KC Falling Star survival plan revolves around his willingness to pimp himself out to every Democrat who needs a good stroking.

    It's just downright embarrassing anymore.

  14. Too bad the Save KCI contingent couldn't marshal up the fight. Now it appears Terminal A, which was to be demolished first, is the primary source of electrical and water lines for all three terminals.. let's hear you on that, Kraske. With the general slime factor of the whole deal, your praises ring hollow.

  15. Then maybe the opposition ought to get more money and be better organised unless there aren't enough people opposed.

Ever think of that? That there may be only a few moronic cranks (most of whom post here it seems) opposed to improving the quality of life in their city?

    Guess not.
