Another local petition on the way . . . This Northland good government effort amid an array of slap-fighting from politicos:

Clay County group collects signatures at poll locations to petition for government spending audit

CLAY COUNTY, Mo. -- A man who spent decades in local government used that experience to take his mission to the streets on Election Day. Former Clay County Commissioner Jay Lawson used Election Day as a chance to add names to his list. "I don't know why it's happening the way it is," he said.

This same sort of shit was going on in Liberty just as badly when Jay Lawson was in office.

What we should be asking the State to investigate is how the majority of Clay County residents, those who live in the Western half, get no representation in or services from Clay County Government.

It is long past time to split the County into two parts, so the Liberty Mafia can continue their shenanigans without continuing to wreak havoc in the lives we westerners are trying to make our way through.
