TKC SUNDAY SPECIAL!!! HEAVIES CONTRIBUTE $65K TO FREEDOM, INC. AS NEW AIRPORT ELECTION APPROACHES!!! #NEWKCI STAYS WINNING IF KANSAS CITY EAST SIDE TURNS OUT TO VOTE!!!

Empty promises of urban core jobs and timely political contributions threaten to decide yet another Kansas City election supporting the corporate development agenda which has hijacked municipal politics.

To wit . . .

UNDER THE RADAR, THE HEAVIES HAVE GIVEN EAST SIDE POWER PLAYER POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE $65K JUST A COUPLE OF WEEKS BEFORE THE NEW AIRPORT VOTE!!!

Accordingly . . .

LIKE IT OR NOT, IF FREEDOM, INC. CAN INSPIRE EAST SIDE VOTER TURNOUT, AN ELECTION VICTORY FOR #NEWKCI IS ASSURED!!!

In Kansas City, news is being replaced by activism and with this post we only attempt to offer a REAL GLIMPSE AT HOW KANSAS CITY ELECTIONS ARE WON OR LOST BEFORE A SINGLE BALLOT IS EVER CAST.

And so, we ca talk about evolving and thinking about the future for Kansas City development but the reality is that these political victories come by way of good old fashioned patronage which has defined this town's history and set the stage for the current corporate oligarchy.

The reality here is that it's not tech, security or tourism that drives the politics of a new airport. Instead, media hype both social and mainstream is merely a distraction which serves to power what will be large scale looting, graft and corruption that awaits the biggest public construction project in modern Kansas City history.

You decide . . .

  1. don't give up the fight.

The ballot box is secret and that's the only hope we have. Nobody can look over your shoulder and tell you how to vote. People across KC know this is a ripoff.

  2. Kansas City was nice while it lasted. This is the final nail in the coffin.

  3. If Kansas City east side turns out to vote???? Now that's funny.

  4. Freedom inc has nothing to do with the east side, they never leave the central core, unless they are chasing white girls to bang

  5. Gotta pay the overseers if you want them to keep the black folks on the Plantation.

  6. Sly will have it exactly as he wants it. You apathetic peasants bend over and get out your billfolds. Anyone who honestly believes this airport will not cost the tax payers is a complete numb nuts.

  7. I like it how the so called power players get together and carve up the winnings before the robbery goes down. Fortunately, as the economic prospects of east side voters edge higher and their direct costs become apparent to them, they become a bit more suspicious of their "leaders".

  8. People that don't use airports don't vote for airports.

  9. Watch for bad weather to suppress inner city turnout.
How happy are Freedom's folks with Killa City efforts to reduce violence and crime in their neighborhoods?
I will vote no on every municipal issue as long as Sly, Burke and Clowncil are trying to rape, pillage, plunder and neglect basic services.

  10. Get over it and enjoy the new airport you crybabies. Welcome to 2017, later 1971.

  11. It was a waist of money they should have done something more constructive with that money to really help the east side. Those voters have had promises, made to them before, they are not going to turn out. More jobs for the Eastside will be created if they remodel the airport.

  12. And if it passes I will still fly there will be higher ticket fees.I just won't eat or shop at airport businesses I will eat a great meal when I arrive at my destination.

  13. It's both comical and very sad to watch people who supposedly are so concerned about voting rights, registration, and turnouts on election day to time after time simply take under-the-table cash and sell out the very residents they make believe they're so concerned about.
    Grifter Central!

  14. Buying votes, been happening ever since elections were started.

  15. true.

as an indicator of inflation, it might be interesting to calculate how much a vote cost under Pendergast versus how much a vote costs now.

(free term paper idea for an economics student)

  16. Vote no!

Keep KCI convenient.....and irritate the corrupt establishment.

  17. the local newspaper editorial on airport security seemed incoherent. it must have been about getting in the headline and hoping no one read the text.

  18. New KCI = an inconvenient airport truth

  19. would the hyperloop go to union station, or might it go to kci?

hyperloop would be great for kc and missouri.

if we get hyperloop and amazon, that would be terrific.

  20. The late great ken Hill papered Freedom with $50 bills in 1979, the mayoral race, for Joel Pelofsky, and they did not deliver, even then, even when Joel would have been great for their community.

It's kinda like when Moms die, families fall apart. Freedom has been a grifter org similar to Payday loans ever since founder Leon Jordan died.

July, 1970. Freedom's power died then. White folks trying to buy that vote still haven't figgered this out.

    http://fox4kc.com/2014/07/15/people-gather-to-honor-civil-rights-leader-leon-jordan-want-to-see-his-legacy-furthered/

Of course, Sly James--our homeless renter mayor, who was never ever ever a member of Freedom, has a million bucks in his pocket, and is itchin' to spend it, lying to KCMO voters that the New KCI will bring us MORE direct flights--with FEWER gates! And he doesn't have Steve Glorioso any more to write the lies for the postcards.

so--SaveKCI CAN save the day, turn out YOUR voters, lie to the pollsters.
Remember, Mike White won by just one vote. And Bartle Hall passed by 18, only because politico Jerry Jette (Wheeler's campaign staffer) charmed the good old gals at the election board to change 18 marginal votes to yesses.

Show up. And show greed how to put their tray tables of political crumbs in the upright and locked position.

  21. The bs artists need to have the public send them a message, no corruption, no rigged games, no weak plans rushed while undeveloped, no arrogance to buy off the black community

    ReplyDelete
  22. The concept upon which freedom Inc. is founded is a big fucking lie; ain't nobody men anybody else's slave for hundred and fifty years.

    ReplyDelete
  23. The leaders of Freedom are so dumb. They could have said NO to the money this time and when Sly puts it on the ballot the second time they could have pulled easily $300,000.00!

    ReplyDelete
  24. 10:27, at first I thought you were right.
But upon reflection, Freedom took what they could get, and when it fails, will raise the price and go back to the well for more.

It's what they do. And it's what happens when the mayor has a million bucks in his pocket, and nowhere to spend it that will make a difference. So the happy clown in the bow tie lies, "Vote Yes for MORE direct flights"--with fewer gates??? Everyone sees through that. But he is all in now, desperate.

Sly James is a white black man. He has NO connection to the black community. He is a bought and paid for lame duck, scrambling to put his imprimatur on SOMETHING and failing at every turn.

There will be no run for Congress. No governorship. And certainly no appointment to a cabinet position or ambassadorship, no honorary chair at a university. Sly James has nothing to live for, because he has presided over the systematic sell-off of Kansas City as a town that works for working folk.

Freedom's second rate second generation "leaders" eg cash grabbers don't take his calls--unless he has a bag of money. They don't invite him to their homes or out for breakfast. And he certainly doesn't invite them to 108 E 30th St, where he is a mere renter from a white man.

Sly James' legacy will be zip. A failed and useless toy train. (In St. Louis, where they extended mass transit, every train stop is a crime zone, avoided by whites at all costs.) No downtown hotel, because we don't really need it. High crime. The death of Westport and far worse, The Country Club Plaza. Crumbling streets. Flood zones. The smart people relocating to Blue Springs and Johnson County. No Amazon--just a stack of crap he bought in a desperate attempt to grab a headline since he knows KCMO is NOT attractive to Amazon.

Don't ask for whom the wind chimes chime, Sly. They chime for you, all right. Like a church tower, bells pealing at a funeral. The slow sad death of Kansas City.
