Here's a glimpse at the airport supporters spending some of the big bucks they'e been collecting with junk mail that usually goes directly into the garbage . . . Or the kitty litter box sent by this KICK-ASS TKC READER.
Quick arguments on the front page that are mostly lies because KCMO wants to build a SMALLER airport . . .

An attempt at old school shaming without giving local voters another option to modernize the place:

Small print and more rhetoric that would also be addressed with a renovation . . .

A lost of endorsements . . .

The flip side . . .

You decide . . .
It's time Kansas City had honest city government that actually cares about something other than lining their own pockets at the taxpayers expense. Vote no
ReplyDeleteBow tie the clown needs new clown suits so this better pass or he might have to get his bambalanze chasing lawyers to make him more money!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is time for pro basketball or hockey team at the downtown arena.
ReplyDeleteTeresa Loar??
ReplyDeleteDid we fall for that trick four times since the Mayor has been in office? The Kansas City Zoo was supposed to be better with the forever tax. Crime was supposed to fall dramatically if only we evicted homeowners to build the East Patrol Police Facility. The new water and sewer charges were supposed to reduce flooding, correct ongoing sewer issues and then the last one was better infrastructure, sidewalks and better communities. Not to mention the streetcar hoopla. Come on White people! How many times are you going to fall for this????
ReplyDeleteVOTE NO!!!!!!!
how do you get more direct flights--with fewer gates???
ReplyDeleteTracy, you're absolutely beautiful
DeleteWhat are the construction workers going to do if this doesn't pass? I suppose they could learn code, latte foam art, or even blogging to put food on their family.
ReplyDeleteWho gives a fuck about the union crybabies? The purpose is not to provide jobs. If it passa, we have enough Mexican laborers around that will work a lot cheaper
DeleteMy dear Tracy is right on point.
ReplyDeleteQuestion remains: will kc voters get their heads outta their asses and realize this is a money maker scam for the city and rich out of town developers, financial firms and construction company.
Further will anyone wise them up the the increase debt of the city and increase airport fees and of course more tax initiatives.
"will kc voters get their heads outta their asses and realize this is a money maker scam for the city and rich out of town developers, financial firms and construction company"
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt it
Will the rest of you pull your heads out of your asses and vote YES? The best NO argu, met is the City leadership sucks, that doesn't make them wrong on this one. It is time for a new KCI especially with no new tax and 90% of the money will come from outside KCMO.
ReplyDeleteI seriously doubt this board will pull your heads out, but it won't matter, because this one is going to pass!
If it's going to pass anyway, why did you take the time to post this, assmunch?
DeleteThe only way it will pass is if the City reports FALSIFIED RESULTS, AND YOU DAMN WELL KNOW IT!
ReplyDeleteWhy should we trade a unique, convenient airport for a copy of the crappy messes that everyone has built over the last twenty years? They are HATED by everyone who has to use them!
One one side, lots of money, influence, professional organization and no qualms about little white lies. On the other side, zilch. This is a tried and true formula for picking the public's pockets. It will pass, merits or lack thereof be damned.
ReplyDeleteIs the one paid for by Burns and Mac too?
ReplyDeleteIt is time for KC to realize it is not a place tourists want to come and take a frugal business approach to this air port amusement park project. Seriously folks if you lived in Jacksonville would you be thinking I want to travel and see all the points of interest in Kansas City? Time for a dose of reality before we get all excited and shit our britches.
ReplyDeleteIs this frigging blog the home for the 3% that don't have the testicles to actually participate in civic discourse in a respectful manner?
ReplyDeleteAnother closer to Trump's distopia, where everything is someone else's fault.
They will ask for more gates ten years down the road. It's marketing 101,sell the sizzle not the steak. Down the road you ask for more. You are being buffaloed
ReplyDeleteEver ask yourself "why don't they just tear down the parking garage and build their ticketing / security area there?"
ReplyDeleteWe can keep the gates where they are now.
It's because the fucking parking garage is a money maker for the city. No central parking garage is a loss of revenue.
Lame as fuck....
