TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! HACKING THE AIRPORT ELECTION??? KANSAS CITY TAX FIGHTERS RAGE AGAINST CITY HALL SPAMMING TWITTER FOR #NEWKCI VOTES!!!

New allegations against the denizens of 12th & Oak contend that an organized effort by City Hall to coerce voters into a Question #1 compliance is underway.

Kinda like the Russian hacking story but far more silly and pathetic.

Here's the word that hopes encourage most social media slap fighting:

City Hall is ordering the city employees to go onto Twitter and encourage people to vote for the new single terminal. Please tell your followers to put KCI airport in the twitter search field (#NewKCI) and get in the conversation and rebut those people.. Tell them you like KCI the way it is: We need reinforcements!”

Pause . . .

TKC FACT CHECK: Social media has never decided a single election in Kansas City (No, not even Fakebook). Locals would be better off talking to neighbors and sharing thoughts with them about the upcoming decision . . . Then communities might quickly realize how few people vote in this town.

Developing . . .

The tax breaks to the Star are far more effective.

I would think ordering city employees to go on twitter to support a vote would be a violation of election laws.

So you have a city government that is, by law, forced to allow citizens to choose, but then they use every resource paid for by tax payers, including personnel, to promote one side of the issue as if what the citizens have to say is not relevant whatsoever. This is the real Kansas City folks.

The city just keeps getting money from law firms and labor groups to push the issue . Just look at Light Rail when down 7 times then they changed the voting way so they could pass it . Employees should be docked for time spentTwitter

What ever happened to the days when the citizens told the mayor what we need instead of the mayor telling us what we need
