OPEN THREAD: KANSAS CITY CHIEFS VS. RAIDERS THUG LIFE FOOTBALL TONIGHT AS NATIONAL ANTHEM PROTEST PERSISTS!!!
Instead of the Star Spangled Banner, the NFL ran a promotional commercial for itself in an attempt to quell protest controversy. It didn't work.
The Kansas City Chiefs’ Ukeme Eligwe and the Oakland Raiders’ Marshawn Lynch — sat during the national anthem before “Thursday Night Football” on CBS despite President Donald Trump’s call to stand the day before.
Controversial CB Marcus Peters kinda just goofed off and reportedly simulated a sax solo at the end of the anthem.
Later in the evening . . . There was a continued ruckus that was just a bit ore interesting then the game . . .
