Apparent murder victim had been sought for questioning in 2016 North Kansas City homicide

A teenager who was found dead on an apartment front porch in North Kansas City was considered a person of interest in a separate killing. Zachary Murphy, 19, of Gladstone was found dead early Monday after someone reported shots fired in the 2300 block of Oliver Drive.
