KSHB: A man standing outside City Hall, and across from the Police Station fired a gun into the air.

Deets:

A KC Police Detective saw the man, and when other officers arrived, the man put the gun down and surrendered without incident.

He told officers he was hearing voices, and his family and friends wouldn't or couldn't help him, so he decided a way to get help is to fire a gun in the air.

The man was only described as a black man wearing a gray sweatshirt.

  10. This is sad, there are so many people who are on medication and so many who need it but aren't on it. What I would like to know is, why are so many people mentally ill today?
