KANSAS CITY STAR CONTINUES CATHOLIC SCHOOL ATTACK: HOOPZ RAGES AGAINST ALLEGED ST. TERESA'S RACISM!!!
In the latest opus from Hoopz, she "reports" racist hearsay regarding the alleged racism of Kansas City Catholic mean girls.
Checkit:
Jeneé Osterheldt: For this student, swastika is one piece of unrelenting racism at KC Catholic school
This "newsflash" that high-school students can be mean might be the worst bit of "journalism" of the week in all of Kansas City.
However, we believe the student interviewed SHOULD NOT BE SUBJECT TO ANY CRITICISM. She's a youngster and dealing with her own issues.
TKC is a graduate of Catholic high school and we don't doubt racist comments or question overall meanness.
But here's a new flash . . .
Attending an elite Catholic high school can also be tough for:
- Poor people
- Youngsters with acne
- The short, fat, tall, shy, outgoing or awkward.
There is no limit to the cruelty of youngsters left to their own devices. Further reading Lord Of The Flies . . . The new movie version is gonna feature a female cast in the lead roles.
The bigger question is why The Star focuses their attack "journalism" on an elite Catholic High School when so many other problems confront teens and their parents in Kansas City.
This story is about insults, personal slights and tough talk that's pretty mild compared to what's in the comments of most social media and online forums.
In the final analysis, the focus on these personal and highly subjective allegations rather than tackling broader social issues in Kansas City could be part of why the newspaper continues to lose advertisers and subscribers.
You decide . . .
She and the KC Star are irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteSurely attending high school in the KCMO public school district is tolerant, kind, and absent any violence or cruelty.
ReplyDeleteIt's a private school, nobody forces her to go there. She should leave if it is that bad and go to public school. Maybe she could move to the Missouri side and go to Central with some of her brethren, bet she would love being around those people who all look like her.
ReplyDeleteLet Jenee,ENJOY HER, 15 MINUTES OF FAME. SOONER A YOUNGER MORE INDEPENDENT JOURNALIST WILL TAKE HER PLACE
ReplyDeleteIf you don't like it, get your black unwanted ass out of there.
ReplyDeleteLet Jenee,ENJOY HER, 15 MINUTES OF FAME. SOONER A YOUNGER MORE INDEPENDENT JOURNALIST WILL TAKE HER PLACE
ReplyDeletemaybe she should investigate why young black males feel the need to shot guns in public places.
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteI can not stand this jenee Osterheldt. She is really a disturbed individual.
Expect BILL TAMMEUS to make a courageous blog post within the next two or three days about this outrage, just like he has about the Communists behind ANITFA and the fact that PLANNED PARENTHOOD is eliminating more Black Lives every MONTH than the KKK has in its entire vile existence.
ReplyDeleteBILL TAMMEUS! HE da man! He will expose these atrocities.
You can BET YOUR LIFE on it!
After all, wasn't he the religious editor of the Star's Faith and Religion section?
(By the way, the Star has sent that down the memory hole and denies the existence of such a section.)
The students should leave this evil Catholic high school and hang out at a nice, safe place like Massachusetts Street in Lawrence on a Saturday night.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the subject matter is not worthy of such scrutiny. She should bravely take on the violence, perhaps starting with the way city hall seems to be ignoring it. If you want to be taken as a serious writer, then you must write about serious matters.
ReplyDeleteWhy isn't the KANSAS CITY ATHEIST COALITION doing something about this?
ReplyDeleteAren't they done with the IHOP kids yet?
Maybe they need new leadership!
^^^^^Why, she just writes crap and hate like you do Funkyshit
ReplyDeleteThe day she writes something original and non-divisive is the day the Star’s stock goes up...NEVER.
ReplyDeleteWith divisive anger spewed from “writers” like her... the world needs no enemies.
She couldn’t get a job writing instructions on how to tie a shoe.
In March of 2012, a 13 year-old White boy was followed home from school by two 16 year-old Blacks, told "you deserve this White boy' doused with gasoline, and set on fire on his front porch. Jenee Ostercunt (and TKC, for that matter) regarded this as a non-event. I personally contacted the Kansas City ACLU and asked if they had any plans on looking into this obvious violation of the boy's Civil Rights--no--in fact , the person I spoke to had heard nothing about it. The KC Star had nothing to say until June when they reported that the FBI had ended their Hate Crime investigation--nope, no Hate Crime. There will be more Swastikas. There will be more Confederate Monuments and Confederate Battle Flags. There will be more Far-Right speakers and more Far-Right gatherings to hear these speakers. There will be much, much more...Thank God.
ReplyDelete^^^ Please stay away from young boys! That's creepy.
ReplyDelete@5:45 - That story was later discovered to be completely made up.
ReplyDeleteKinda like hands up, don't shoot?
DeleteNo it wasn't made up.
DeleteMost blacks are invited to come to catholic school for free, and this is how she pays them back. I’m sure that ignorant race baiting reporter for the soon to be non existent news paper added a few things to make it sound worse.
ReplyDeleteI hate the Star. And Janee. She shuld write about nascar. And gun's. And monster truck rally's. The Star shuld print what I want. Not what lib's want. Janee write's divise artacle's. And it make's me sad.
ReplyDelete@6:17 The only thing "proven" was that someone (not the boy's mother) had set up a fake Facebook page with a fake photo. Black on White crime and the racism which obviously goes with it has only recently become part of public discourse. By the way, a Muslim killed two White people in France yesterday --slit their throats--guess that was a "hoax" too.
ReplyDeletenobody thinks there's a kernel of truth in the story?
ReplyDeleteyeah, i know, it's in an unreliable newspaper.
but doesn't one have to wonder if the young lady's story might not be true?
the school, which is a great school, certainly needs some support systems for students that it doesn't seem to have.
Why doesn't she write about the reverse racism in the KCMO and KCK school districts. It's horrific if you're white and attending an urban school. Ask some of those kids....but, she won't because it doesn't fit into her journalistic agenda
ReplyDeleteShe's even starting to look a little like Al Shapton, Damn.
ReplyDeleteWhat these girls did was shameful. No excuse.
ReplyDeleteKick the black girls ass the fuck out of that school and be done with it.
ReplyDeleteYOU CAN LEAD A HORSE TO WATER BUT YOU CAN'T MAKE IT DRINK.....AND YOU CAN LEAD JENEE TO A GOOD INTERVIEW BUT SHE CAN'T COMPOSE A GOOD STORY!
ReplyDeleteWhat was the St. Teresa's Academy story about?
Underage drinking. I'm not condoning it in any way, but it happens in every high school throughout the metro.
So, why did this instance become a big story? Because it gave the media an opportunity to use the word "swastika" repeatedly! This was akin to hitting the jackpot for the liberal corporate media, ever eager to hector their audience with terms such as Nazi, fascist, white supremacist, racist, and now "swastika."
While Jenee's article was absurdly written, let me highlight perhaps the worst passage: "..... she tells me one afternoon at Starbucks, sipping a Pumpkin Spice Frappucino and playing with her class ring."
So, while Ms. Osterheldt was fretting over Starbucks drink orders, what worthy stories did she completely miss?
1) The loving aunt and uncle who took in their niece and instilled strong values in her.
2) If the family lives in south Overland Park, why do they believe so strongly in St. Teresa's that they make the long daily commute to campus? There are Catholic schools much closer to their residence.
3) Jenee should have told the story of the young woman's cousin and how she excelled and set an example.
4) Jenee paints herself as a perpetual victim, and does this intelligent young woman no favors by encouraging her to dwell on the negative while adopting a mindset of being oppressed.
5) This attractive, thoughtful young student knows that there are spoiled brat jerks in the world, and one must learn to navigate around them in order to reach your goals in life. Stay strong, aim high, avoid smoking/alcohol/drugs, and don't listen to Jenee Osterheldt's narrative of victimization.
you make some good points.
ReplyDeleteeveryone, whether black or privileged white, suffers slings and arrows on life's journey. life isn't always fair.
the best response is to man up. living well is the best revenge.
Tony,
ReplyDeleteIt’s bad enough to read her regurgitated woes week after week, but to have to look at that nappy Brillo pad hair is just cruel.
She is beautiful! We love you J!
DeleteYeah, she's beautiful. I'd pay her $20 to give up the poodle.
DeleteYep, those STA girls are soooooo bad--rampaging over to Rock High with their mad daddies to stomp some Hawks' heads. And, those STA girls were very thuggy to fistfight in the middle of a Mission Hills street,...wait, what?! Oh, that's right...there was no violent beatdown on school property...nor, a death and serious injuries caused by an auntie in her speeding car!!
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, what did Hoopz have to say about the earlier reports of these other "mean girls"?
There's no war but class war Renee.
ReplyDeleteIdentity politics started with her hero Barack
ReplyDeleteI FARTED AM I RACIST
ReplyDeleteITS SUNNY TODAY IS THAT RACIST
