KANSAS CITY HOMICIDE #120: MAN SHOT DEAD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STREET!!!

This latest local murder isn't getting much news coverage because it didn't happen in a nice part of town. Instead, the latest addition is glanced over despite the rising Kansas City homicide count. On the bright side, this local news outlet dedicated some important resources to reporting the killing:

Man shot to death in Kansas City at 7th, Norton

Police are investigating a fatal shooting at E. 7th Street and Norton Avenue. The victim was found dead in the middle of 7th Street near Lykins Square in Kansas City. The shooting call originally came in around 2 p.m. Detectives canvassed the neighborhood and went door-to-door asking if neighbors had seen anything.

  3. Let me guess KCPD is NOT going to get us off of the 10 most dangerous cities this year.

Kansas City out of over 20,000 cities is in the top 10 most dangerous.

  4. Maybe John Miles can suggest building a police fort there. That will solve everything. When he needs money he calls the police.

    1. John Miles will need to buy up a lot of properties "Ollie Gates" style before a fort can be built.

  6. We're having a good week. It's very important that we break the record this year. We have to get to 154. The record has stood at 153 since 1993 and that's ridiculous.
