Like it or not, whilst the drama over former Prez Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort surrendering to the Feds has created a political firestorm across the nation . . . The controversy isn't playing well in Kansas City.
Judging by some Conservative chatter and a dearth of local coverage, the legacy of Watergate or at least the drama of Prez Clinton's blue dress staining (yass!!!) has been lost of so many supporters of Prez Trump who suspect conspiracy or deny the implication that this Russian hot mess could bring down the current administration.
TKC QUESTION - KANSAS CITY CONSERVATIVES GIVING PREZ TRUMP A PASS ON TEAM #MAGA LEGAL TROUBLE: PARTISAN HYPOCRISY OR OBJECTIVE PATIENCE???
Either way, there's no denying that the prospect of the Commander-In-Chief being taken down like a crime boss doesn't bode well for the nation regardless of political or demographic predilections.

You decide . . .
I tend to go with the "nothing burger" analysis but I will say that the "blame Hillary" excuses are exceptionally weak and the worst of legacy talk radio pablum.
ReplyDeleteIf Trump is guilty burn him at the stake.
ReplyDeleteTrump is right that Hillary's actions need investigated also.
We could have a 'two for one' special at the stake!
Papadopoulos' guilty plea - back in July - is the wedge. He's talking, and for the last three months. Monday's news is just the ground floor, and the GOP and rightwing media's attempt to smear Mueller isn't sticking a bit. The guy's a career prosecutor who's far better at his work than Sekulow, Cobb and the Trump legal team.
ReplyDeleteI'm Wiccan and I find the term/idiom "witch hunt" religiously offensive. I demand it quit being used just like the word nigger.
ReplyDeleteWhat the fuck is a wiccan? Baby milk in a can? Fuck off peterpuffer.
ReplyDeleteOnly the most rabid rightists (if they are also wearing blinders)accept the "witch hunt" theory.
ReplyDeleteWill it take down the Trump administration? No one can say. However, there are serious implications about collusion with Russia, repeated lying, criminal activity etc. etc.
No. Not a hint of collusion. What we have found out is that a crooked businessman is crooked. Which we knew. Look out, Sherlock Holmes!!

ReplyDeleteIgnorance is not an excuse. It's common term, but if you don't understand you can Google it!
"Trump distances himself from indictments, says Papadopoulos has 'proven to be a liar'"
ReplyDeleteAnd Trump is an expert on liars as Hitler was an expert on Nazis.
Who gives a shit about all this crap? I want to know what Trump is doing about the NFL players disrespecting the national anthem. That's what's really important.
ReplyDeleteCan't the leader of the free world get a better looking spokesperson than that cow from Arkansas?
ReplyDeleteWhen are we going to nuke North Korea? Winter Olympics coming up soon.
ReplyDeleteCareful, 11:31 AM. Cows are perfectly good chattel. My grandfather preferred them over horses and mules because when they quit giving milk, you could hit them between the eyes with a sledgehammer, dress them out and put them in the locker for dinner later. Just saying, quit maligning cows. They are useful, have a purpose. They might kick over the milk can once in awhile, but they won't lie to your face.
ReplyDelete@11:31 - you prefer that lying faggot from Kansas City, Josh Earnest?
ReplyDelete^^^^Well, he was better looking and not a porker.
ReplyDelete12:19: Well, you could probably get some stew meat out of the deal, but prime cuts? Not so much.
ReplyDelete@12:38 - Earnest is a smarmy effeminate douche. If you think he's better looking, see an optometrist.
ReplyDeleteWell, how about Kellyanne? Or Sean? They were at least fun to watch, and neither was the spawn of Mike Hucksterbee and some farm animal.
ReplyDeleteJosh Earnest was an obnoxious Propagandist, and he looks like the spawn of Harvey Weinstein and an underage Lena Dunham.
ReplyDeleteNothing but Butt Hurt
ReplyDeleteNext thing you know the Con men, Fox News, and the pill-popping serial child moloester Rush Limbaugh, will be trying to vindicate Kevin Spacey.
ReplyDelete1:41: It doesn't have to be Josh--just someone who doesn't make you want to call an abattoir.
ReplyDeleteRussia is reportedly linked by money arrangements to Manafort, the Podestas, and Hilly, who are said to be interconnected in those links. The measure of suspected and possible malfeasance for each of the persons named above, including known or yet to be known others and Russians---is a big question mark at this early point in the big dig.
ReplyDeleteThe libtards need to check their 401k. Mine is up 27% since first of the year !
ReplyDeleteRight there with you 3:43. But libs don’t worry about trivial things like 401k; they know the government will support them from cradle to grave with money from the money farm where it grows overnight on trees just waiting to be spent.
DeleteWhat goes up must come down - hard. Stocks are up right now because businesses think the rapid dismantlement of all regulation will continue. The pendulum will swing back sooner than you think, and lots of small investors (401k holders) will suffer the most as mega-rich take their profits and bug out. Left behind in the wake will be filthy air, filthy water, expensive and inefficient centralized energy infrastructure and a debt-ridden federal government.
ReplyDeleteLibtards still trying to spin shit into gold, eh? You lost. Get over it.
ReplyDelete2:51 - she's still better than someone who should have been a reeducation official in a Soviet gulag.
ReplyDelete^^^^Actually she looks like she could have been a reeducation official in a Soviet gulag.
ReplyDelete^^^^ uh, no; Earnest fits the personality for that better. Looks-wise, he could play the role of the weasel who gets sodomized in a gay porn movie.
ReplyDelete^^^^^Possible, but Sanders would never be considered for a porn movie. At least one for human consumption.
ReplyDelete^^^^ yeah, I would consider Earnest below the level for human consumption, or for human interaction.
ReplyDelete^^And these are apparently the "thoughts" of Christians?
ReplyDelete^^ no, we're atheists like you, douchebag Funkhouser. We're all celebrating Halloween West Virginia-style by burning a cross on our front lawns, after shagging a sheep.
ReplyDeleteThis libtard's 401k is up 28% since the first of the year.
ReplyDeleteYou're a bunch of cowards.
ReplyDelete^^^^^^You're an asshole so STFU
ReplyDeleteSome people need remedial econ and history. Again.
ReplyDeleteThe Trump 4 year term is still only midway through the 1st quarter. A little early to start talking scoreboard, especially when he's still coasting on the Obama economy. No Trump economic policies have passed in Congress. No tax changes, no healthcare repeal, no new federal budget changes, no change to NAFTA, no China trade changes, etc, etc.
27% on the coattails of Obama seems like a decent start, but he still has a little ways to go. Here are the 8 year scoreboards for the S&P 500:
Clinton + 211.3%
Obama + 175.9%
Reagan + 129.6%
Bush - 33.9%
Those Democrats can move a market up. Check back on Trump's scoreboard when there is some real history.

The only coattails Obama left are the negative ones that got Trump elected.
