Interesting theory on something that's not gonna happen . . . As Kansas City submits its mostly secret bid.
Housing costs to spike if Kansas City lands new Amazon HQ
If Amazon's second headquarters came to Kansas City it would drastically change the city's housing landscape. Amazon would become the city's largest employer with 50,000 new jobs, but experts say it could also have a negative effect on area home prices and rent.
That’s great, say goodbye to the poor and middle class, gee thanks sLIE
ReplyDeleteDamn little will change if Amazon comes here.
ReplyDeleteOf course a direct hit by a meteor on KCMO or a nuclear attack by North Korea would also probably both have an adverse effect on home values.
ReplyDeleteAnd BOTH are far more likely than Amazon coming to KC.
Better to plan for the highest percentage!
its no different than what Cerner is pulling in South KC
ReplyDeleteKCMO has nothing to worry about should the impossible happen with Amazon. They will NOT be plunking down their HQ on the Missouri side of the state line. Any HQ will go to Johnson County where the more highly educated and less urban folks live.
