After President Obama's election in 2008, some state legislatures responded to the increased turnout among young people and people of color by attempting to curb voting rights. The wave of voter suppression measures accelerated after the 2010 elections, with politicians enacting new laws that made it more difficult to register to vote and curtailed access to the ballot box.

  1. The ACLU now is no more than a wholly owned subsidiary of the far left Democratic Party. The more illegals who vote, the happier they'll be.

  2. Voter ID for everyone.
You can't operate as a citizen in American without an ID.
Why in the heck should you be allowed to Vote without one?

Answer: No ID equal more Demon Votes and office holders!

People who don't drive, like me, don't have an ID.

    This is voter suppression.

  4. Of course it's aimed at voter suppression. Koster spent $4.3 million of a bankrupt State's money searching for "voter fraud", only to prosecute four people, two of whom were seniors who made a mistake, one of whom may have known he was committing fraud (guilty plea,$500 fine), and one of whom was a Right Wingnut who felt that
owning property in two States gives me the right to vote in both States!".

If you can't find any fraud, Suppress!

  5. @Byron: Any fool (who is a citizen) can obtain a state-issued ID at the DMV.
