Where In The World Is Mission Gateway?!?!

Less than one month until a big vote on a long delayed project which REVEALS THAT JOCO STAYS LOSING DEVELOPMENT SCHEMES, TOO.

Here's what might have been an and AWESOME LOOK BACK by way of a a KICK-ASS TKC READER suggested link:

The Gateway, Mission, KS | Cameron Group LLC

Cameron properties have a heavy concentration in retail, along with mixed use projects that include hotel, office, medical and residential. Since inception in 2001 the company has developed, acquired, and redeveloped in excess of 5,000,000 SF of various project types. Cameron has the flexibility to develop and grow its current portfolio across the United States.

  1. Hopefully Cameron will sell the property to someone else.

  2. Great idea, 7:04am!
    Maybe Mike Burke!!
Mission would have been better off turning the property into a farm filed and growing corn or raising cows.
Just another "developer" with a smile and a shoeshine...
    and no money but YOURS.
    They're everywhere!

  3. Retail is shrinking, the entire KC metro has a surplus of office space, and the apartment building binge will soon end badly. Good luck building anything there.

  6. This whole project was idiotic from the word go. Remember it was going to be a giant aquarium at one point.

More proof that idiots are being elected to run our cities.

Oh and this was also the same political idiots that created the driveway tax for the city.

If the city had any brains they would have moved the city pool along with city hall, police dept, built a community center with decent parking and made some park area out of the rest of the ground. But that would have taken some common sense something very lacking in Mission Ks.
