TKC TOLD YOU SO!!! AS NATION REJECTS SPORTS STARS & KANSAS CITY ROYALS SUCK AGAIN: JACKSON COUNTY EXEC FRANK WHITE STRUGGLES AGAINST POLITICAL PUSH BACK!!!

The legacy and name recognition of Jackson County Exec Frank White powered him to top job and the courthouse but hasn't given him the skill to effectively govern.

Human rights abuses at the jail continue to make headlines and encounter ongoing lawsuits and many criticize the exec's handling of the crisis.

And, just as we warned, A controversial selection without much input from the Legislature was SMACKED DOWN this week.

Here's the MSM round-up after KICK-ASS TKC BLOG COMMUNITY INSIDERS broke the story:

KCUR: Jackson County Legislature Rejects Executive Frank White's Pick For COMBAT

The cleaned up reports of this controversy are leaving COMBAT Deputy Director Vince Ortega out of the drama in order to set up a racial narrative . . . African-Americans Vs. Latinos fighting over a job is too unsavory for middle-class audiences. And so this is simply Exec White Vs. The Legislature. There's also a law enforcement aspect to this drama which has also been excluded . . . COMBAT works extensively with law enforcement and Exec White's pick just doesn't have any experience in this field. Finally, Frank White's pick is a KC Newbie with very few connections in any local community and that's why SMACKING DOWN THE SELECTION WAS EASY. She is not backed up by any political groups, special interests or politicos - This might work in her favor if the drama goes long enough but doesn't give anybody a reason to fight for her beyond pride at this point.

And so . . .

Finally, we're seeing that Exec Frank White can't get by on his name recognition, legacy or baseball achievement. His administration clearly dropped the ball on this one. Moreover, with the Royals struggling again . . . Fans just aren't as excited to support a former jock now that sports stars in general have been taken down a peg in the nation's discourse by Prez Trump.

You decide . . .

  1. It was never fair that Frank moved to the county executive position so quickly.

He was unqualified in every regard.

    Now it's finally showing.

  2. He should probably take a knee on this one.

  4. 8:53 ^^^ you're an idiot if you can't see Frank White is not in the same league with Al Franken, who on his dumbest day is smarter than Frank White will ever be.

  5. Everybody loves us at MU, just like you people do. If I offend you, good!!!

  6. Frank White is more like Donald Trump, except he has a more polite persona. Both are thin skinned. Both are in over their head. Both are afraid people will see them for the frauds they really are.

  7. This big drama really isn't over much of anything that affects the public at all.
COMBAT is a $20 million/year slush fund that does very very little to in any way address or "combat" drug issues in Jackson County, and it makes little real difference who the executive director ends up being.
Most of the money disappears into thin air through one insider deal or another and the rest is wasted on such things as neighborhood cleanups and picnics.
Homicides are higher in KCMO than they've been in many many years and much of the violence is drug related and nothing much is going to change to address accountability of the individuals, agencies, and nonprofits that get COMBAT money.
Same 'ole fights over the same old superficial nothing things.

  8. I'm starting to come around to the idea that the Royals were right about Frank White.

  9. What nation?

  10. For fuck sake is Frank too lazy to go through the motions of trying to make this look like an open process? The way he acted at the county meeting Monday was not a good look, really childish. You're all wrong, all nine of you, the prosecutor and sheriff too. And I'm right.

  11. Tarwater for exec. Frank is now beatable.

  12. Frank wants to get his picture taken and cash his county checks. He's left it to his small clique of advisors to run things.

  13. @ 11:23 So you're saying we've got people no one voted for really running Jackson County?

  14. 9:11 What a stupid thing to say. If Trump is so thin skinned he would have thrown in the towel before the primary. For being afraid of people he sure has gotten out there and stood his ground to the thug politicians and taken more backlash than anyone I've ever known.

Fraud????? Yes heaven forbid he stand up for this country, and not side with ISIS the way Obama did or lie about killing our men in Benghazi the way Clinton did, we just can't have that can we????? YOU PIECE OF PINKO SHIT

  18. Why do we need a county government again? Oh Yeah! So they can raise our property taxes to support the NFL.
