Garmin brings in elites for rebranded KC marathon - Kansas City Business Journal

The Kansas City Marathon, which is now sponsored by Garmin, is bringing in three of the nation's best runners to compete in the Oct. 21 marathon. According to a release from the Kansas City Sports Commission and Foundation, the Olathe-based company will sponsor: Alexi Pappas, a Greek-American distance runner who holds the Greek national record in the 10,000 meters and competed in the 2016 Olympic Games Ben True, the U.S.
