Professor Kraske STILL Wishes J.C. Nichols Fountain Name Change For His Birthday Despite Kansas City Parks Board Blow Off

Dead-Tree media journalism that's probably not as informative as a Facebook post. Take a look: It's Steve Kraske's birthday. Here's his wish list for Kansas City

  7. He is obsessed with this topic. It is the sign of a madman. There are more important issues in the metro the crime that eventually will affect everyone. The robbers the shootings the gangs the black one black crime stupid criminals, running from the cops and then pulling a gun there shot and blame the police. Why do you think J.C.SOLD TO A PITICULAR CLIENTELE. WRITE ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE METRO NOW.

  11. There's nothing wrong with J.C. Nichols fountain, after all he built that area and there's no changing that no matter what you do, as far as jazz lovers go, this guy needs to move to New Orleans for that. Kansas City now ranks #6 in the U.S. for highest crime, that is what Mayor James has done to this city, and I don't think it will come back anytime soon. Strong mayor, or a sick weakling who speaks through a bullhorn, Kansas City has suffered a lot of damage.

  12. Kraske is a fool, and would never be writing in a real newspaper! And, of course, he lives in JoCo and never has to pay for any of the baubles he wants KCMO taxpayers to pay for!!! Shallow, worthless cheerleader!!!!

  13. Kraske has absolutely no interest in exposing flagrant political corruption in Killa City and Missouri. He has been spewing his inane praise of the political elites for too long. Who is backing and protecting this idiot? He is now expanding his agenda of statues to be torn down and fountains to be renamed. Kraske's worship of political elites is only surpassed by his ego and self-importance.

  14. Have you heard Jews say it needs to be renamed. We learn, do better, live and let live. There is progress on the world. It would be more interesting to challenge this cities black and white leadership in different ways to self improve and move forward with a new narrative, something that seems sorely lacking

  15. He isn't crazy he has all of his marbles. You can hear them rolling around when he starts talking.

  16. I've got a great name for the Nichols fountain: Fountain #1. And we can number the rest of them consecutively from that point. Problem solved. You're welcome.

  17. Kraske is one of those people that thinks he has a lot more clout than he does. I'd truly wager that the majority of people in the metro area don't even know who he is, and isn't he originally from Michigan or Minnesota or somewhere up north? Regardless, as for the fountain, leave it be. For all of KC's murders and other criminal messes, it's an attractive city and the most attractive parts are thanks to JCN, from the Plaza to fountains, boulevards and statuary. The good of JCN's legacy far outweighs the bad.
