St. Louis officers chant 'whose streets, our streets' while arresting protesters

St. Louis police arrested more than 80 people Sunday after a peaceful protest turned violent as night fell. In a concentrated area downtown, some protesters smashed windows and overturned trash cans, while others threw chemicals and rocks at police, authorities said.

  1. Professionals in law enforcement should never behave this way. They forget that those streets they claim as theirs belong to the people. If the people don't want a police department, they don't have to fund one. While I understand the need to take a defensive stance, this is highly inappropriate. Where's the leadership at St. Louis PD?

  2. They're dealing with a rabble doing the same and smashing up property, and smashing up people. Fine for law enforcement to get some morale hype, I wish they could go full black sombra squad on these roaches and sweep streets.

  3. ^^^Dummy. That's why you're in no position of power or influence. That's why you're posting on a third-rate blog instead of setting agendas and executing policy. You're dumb and you're a loser. We are all entitled to our opinions and that's mine.

  5. They have every right to chant. Law and order are what they are paid to uphold. A chant lets the criminals know who's in charge. The police don't work for the criminals. They work for the rest of us.

  8. 7:47 & 9:23 - Public protests have distinct parameters ascribed by LAW as to WHEN, WHERE, and HOW the protests transpire. The rights of ALL are protected by municipal, state, and federal mandates.

    Peaceful protests DO NOT:
Disrupt with excessive noise per ordinances,
    Impede traffic or persons,
Deny entrance or egress of authorized security, emergency, and media personnel,
    Threaten or commit bodily harm,
    Threaten or commit property damage,
Theft of property or denying rightful owners access to theirs,
    AND MORE!

IF PROTESTERS WON'T ABIDE IN LAWFUL DEMONSTRATIONS...
...THE COPS, COUNTY JAILS, AND COURTS NEED TO KICK**THEIR**CRIMINAL**ASSES!!!

  9. They should not have been chanting. They should have been beating the fuck out of the protesters, one by one.

  10. I saw a bumper sticker on a car today, that said, "I miss St. Louis."

I broke out all the windows, keyed the car, stole the wheels and everything inside the car and left a note saying, "I hope this helps."

Yeah, maybe the silent sting of pepper spray, the thump of batons, the choking from launched tear gas canisters, the deep bruising from rubber bullets, and the knockdowns by water cannon blasts plus a nice pair of shiny bracelets get slapped on and a free fast ride to jail WOULD BE THE ADULT LESSONS FOR THE IRRESPONSIBLE AND JUVENILE RIOTOUS THUG CRIMINALS!!!!!!
