Propaganda statement for Saturday:
"The commercial airlines that use Kansas City International Airport said they would prefer to work with the Burns & McDonnell-led KCI Hometown Team for a $1 billion single terminal project, if voters approve the idea in November.
“We are a strong supporter of the Kansas City community and our preference would be to stay local and work with KCI Hometown team,” said a statement from the consortium of airlines that fly passengers in and out of KCI."
You decide . . .
Im sure the airlines care who builds what

ReplyDeletePretty much sums up this whole charade.
ReplyDeleteCOME ON, KANSAS CITY VOTERS!
!! PUT THE "NO" BACK INTO NOVEMBER !!
Does anyone think for a moment that the Airlines will not serve Kansas City at a remodeled Three Terminal Airport?
ReplyDeleteHas anyone besides Burns & McDonnell or their lackeys on the City Council seen this "endorsement"?
Could any of us think for even a moment that Burns & McDonnell or their bought-and-paid-for flunkys at the "Joke On Oak" would ever LIE TO US?
The "Consortium of airlines" wants to have the taxpayers build a new airport? Who the hell are these spokespeople? Which airlines? Let's see something from the airlines themselves, and not the "mouthpiece" for B&M.
ReplyDeleteSay NO in November.
strange
