As being one who works inside on property rentals I have noticed an uptick in those unable to pay their rent on time to the same uptick I see in people getting tattoos and body modifications.
ReplyDeleteMost I rent to can afford the rent they just have no ability to budget their money and for the most part the poorer someone is the less they will budget or watch their cash flow closely.
Landlords need to say NO to people who have a poor track record of handling their finances. If you don't have a job, no bank account, and no references from previous landlords, then you are a poor risk. The landlords whine about having to evict when they should have done their homework beforehand.

They actually wanted to prove these evictions were racially motivated. With the extreme documentation the city and courts kept they found out the truth. 7:06 is correct that they have the money but spend it on everything but rent. These people know that under the current system it takes about six months for the legal process for an eviction and they live there for free until the process is completed. They do this crap on purpose and in most cases destroy the house before they leave.
