Local coverage of a problem that's plaguing all of humankind. And creating underground monsters that are nearly as scary as the C.H.U.D. which already lurks below:
Those flushable wipes? They're not actually flushable
It's something we all have to do every day...but usually what happens after we flush is out of sight, and out of mind. But we got to see it up close this week. "So everything up north is coming through this wastewater plant," said KCMO Water Plant Engineer Shaun O'Kelley.
For all you queers out there who wants your ass Crystal Clean getting the goddamn water the costing this millions of bucks and with your Fufu ass wipe
ReplyDeleteWhen will the power generation incineration BE INSTALLED?!
ReplyDeleteFor all the touting of advanced intelligence and science in this world, we are LAGGARDS on some energy sourcing. Yep, SUN, WIND, WATER, and WASTE as "FUELS" could supplement and replace some of the FOSSIL FUELS (hold on there, Big Oil Tycoons--it would still be produced plentifully to sell and reserve for markets not able or willing to extend into those other energy sources).
Toilet paper isn't much (if any) better and cigarette butts are the perfect size to plug the filter systems at treatment plants.
ReplyDeleteThat's why the Mexicans throw their toilet paper in the trash. They know how if fups a system from cleaning them out.
Bullshit, most mexicans dont have toilets is what you mean.
DeleteJesus Christ @10:45AM are you drunk or just retarded? Serious question. Shit, the fools who comment on here...I just can't.....
ReplyDeleteStalkerazzi ^^ is that you? Let me ask you this... If you just can't... Then do us all a favor... And just don't, poor little snowflake
ReplyDeleteAlso, Garbage Disposals in kitchen sinks are another hazard , as most women & kids never use enough water to properly flush the crap they throw down that disposal.
ReplyDeleteThey think that once whatever is flushed or thrown down whatever and it disappears,, that's the end of it,,, because they don't see it anymore.
Fastest way to screw up your pipes in your home is throwing toilet paper and personel hygiene products down it !!!
Save yourself a lotta money,,, QUIT doing it throw it in the TRASH instead folks !!!
Sensible amounts of TP flushed in enough tank water is safe. Tight wadded paper, and not marked septic safe, though, UH OH--Call ROTO ROOTER...that's the name...and away goes big money down your drain!
ReplyDeleteThose cutesy, low volume flush potties ARE TROUBLESOME for some brands. May have to flush the turdies first, THEN flush the poo paper on a second flush. Another FUBAR fakeout that DOESN'T conserve on your WATER, nor your WALLET! Damn liars.
@11:21 Gladys Kravitz? Is that you?
ReplyDeleteThere was a rental house in our neighborhood that was so backed up from diapers, the landlord had to dig up the sewer line and clear it out. Yuck. It appears that anything you can lift goes into the toilet.
ReplyDeleteIs the Water Department trying to tell us that they have not installed Macerators ahead of the filtration screens?
ReplyDeleteWhat the hell is this, the 1930s? They only cost $3,000-$4,000!
Crap, yet another bunch of total incomps on the City Payroll!
I flush my Depends, but I use the ol' lady's smoothie blender to grind them up first.
