  5. I've lived in big cities (Chicago, Dallas, Seattle) and smaller cities in Oregon, Tennessee and New York, and I can say without ANY doubt that Kansas City drivers are the worst.

As 7:02 says, a lot of it is JoCo drivers. They live in neighborhoods with many wide lanes, turn signals at every intersection, massive parking lots, turn signals aren't even necessary -- essentially, it's sooo easy and a ten year old could drive in JoCo. But when they come over to KCMO, they create ALL KINDS of havoc.

KC drivers are always distracted with smart phones and don't pay attention and drive way too slow most of the time; have no awareness or consideration for how THEIR DRIVING AFFECTS others. They slow poke it through BUSY intersections when lots of cars need to get going. They're downright selfish and inconsiderate and lazy and slow and worthless. (There are some in KCMO but most KCMO drivers have more skills and awareness about driving.

  6. My wife is from Los Angeles. and we moved to kansas city three years ago. she travels a lot for her job and shes always telling how kansas city drivers make her the most nervous especially on highways and interstates. like the previous commenter said, nobody pays attention and if they want to drive 54 miles an hour on i35 then they do. if they want to go 75 miles an hour they do that and the left-hand lane is always clogged by a stubborn slow driver.

  7. Even more fatalities were caused by folks playing with their cell phones and the chicken shit cowards in the state legislatures just refuse to make using a wireless device while driving an offense.
