As Kansas City Booms And Sprawls, Trying Not To Forget Those In Between
This summer, NPR reporters are returning to their hometowns to see how they've changed. Sarah McCammon grew up in Kansas City - on the Missouri side of the state line. Like a lot of places, Kansas City is experiencing a couple of major trends - suburban sprawl and, more recently, a downtown revitalization.
Niggers are....
ReplyDeleteSuburban sprawl has been going on locally and around the country since the 1950's and KCMO's downtown "renaissance" is a bubble propped up by hype and public subsidies.
ReplyDeleteSarah is a typical NPR "reporter" caught up in the latest fads, buzz words, trends, and hype.
She should go home and stop slumming among the deplorables.
Did she notice that we have running tap water and inside bathrooms?
The same as people who use the N word
ReplyDeleteDoes that include niggers calling one another nigger? I need clarity.

ReplyDeleteShe will be extremely impressed by the streetcar. Finally Kansas City has entered the 19th Century.
ReplyDelete^^^ if we build the new billion dollar airport, she'll have an orgasm.
ReplyDeleteI don't even bother reading or listening to NPR any more, haven't for years actually. Way too progressive and white shaming for my health!
ReplyDeleteWe did cut of tax payer money to these fake news outlets, right?
ReplyDeleteKansas City is suffering the "donut hole" syndrome. As developers move further away from the center, people and jobs follow. The hole is neglected and the neighborhoods around it catch the disease and fall apart. Adding upscale apartments to the hole is not the answer. It temporarily adds "excitement" but does not sustain. There are people who never see the downtown area because they live so far out. Fear of crime keep them in their far-flung enclaves. Eventually there will be no "there" there in Kansas City.
ReplyDeleteEveryone working by the hour in this country needs a raise. I do pretty good but I still hate seeing a-hole in Mercedes Benz and BMW. Eat the rich.
ReplyDelete.....Let's go down to The Corrigan Station for dinner....the food's
ReplyDeletegood and the view is terrific........
People in this country need to get over the illusion of the "American Dream". Suburban sprawl is the result of people trying to keep up w/ the joneses and thinking they need to live in the burbs to be happy. Fuck that shit.
