CLINTON, Mo. -- William Noble, 35, faces a felony charge of tampering with evidence because police say he disposed of the gun used to kill Clinton Police Officer Gary Michael. The Henry County prosecutor says that Noble knew the rifle was used in a crime and attempted to conceal it.

A memorial fund has been set up in the name of a Clinton police officer killed in the line of duty. Clinton police announced that the Gary Michael Memorial Trust fund has been established at US Bank. Residents can make donations to the trust through any US Bank.
