Kansas City police have wrapped up a standoff in the 7700 block of NE 53rd Street. Police say the suspect was armed with guns. At around 9:30 p.m., the suspect surrendered without incident. Kansas City city council's housing committee is considering a Rental Inspection ordinance, which would create a new fee and permitting structure for rental houses.

  1. I'm glad they've identified the remains, but hopefully a superior agency comes in and takes prosecution away from the amazing ineptitude of the Belton PD. That psycho should be hanged within the year, not put on death row for the remainder of his natural life, or sentenced to the equally worthless life without parole. He really just needs to be dead.
