Snowfall Features Kansas City Baseball Cap In Drama Exploring Roots Of The Crack Epidemic
Quick local entertainment news connection that is more organic than most of the canned news broadcast by the other local stations. A KICK-ASS denizen of our blog community noticed a bit of local memorabilia is a highly acclaimed new TV show.
Snowfall is an American crime drama television series created by John Singleton, Eric Amadio and Dave Andron. Set in 1983 Los Angeles, the series revolves around the first crack epidemic and its impact on the culture of the city. The series follows the stories of several characters whose lives are doomed to intersect: 19-year-old drug dealer Franklin Saint, Mexican luchador Gustavo "El Oso" Zapata, CIA operative Teddy McDonald, and Lucia Villanueva, the daughter of a Mexican crime boss.
CIA operative Teddy McDonald is played by Carter Hudson and our blog community notices that he wears the KC cap for most of the show . . . Which is kind of a nice shout out and maybe a reference to intelligence community pretty much stretching from the heartland and far beyond.
Altogether, the drama has great reviews and might be worth a look if only to get a glimpse of the vintage local gear.
