SHAME!!! KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CORNERBACK MARCUS PETERS CONTINUES NATIONAL ANTHEM DISRESPECT!!!

Pre-season protest persists from Marcus Peters . . . Here's the story that most local news outlets and fanboys want to avoid.

However, a growing number of NFL players protesting in general and outraged regarding the fate of Colin Kaepernick in particular seem to be planning to continue their demonstrations.

Meanwhile, don't forget that anthem protest by Mr. Peters was front and center early in the season abut quickly and quietly discontinued later in the year.

LOOK: Chiefs' Marcus Peters rides stationary bike during national anthem

There’s been no word from the Chiefs or Peters about the choice.

  1. I have no intention of watching the NFL this year.

  2. I hope the NFL starts hurting. Without the working class to prop it up, the hood rats are going to have to do something other than games (sports). Become educated on something productive.

I quit watching it 3 years ago, full of thugs and rich arrogent athletes who should be wearing cardboard hats with fake degrees from fake colleges.

Many of my friends have quit watching and there are constant conversations with all of us on how much we despise these spoiled, Antufa Athletes.

Before long my bet is that none of my friends, at least i hope not, will watch.

That pissed off so many of my friends- half are veterans- hoping it quits or we will quit watching. He is very disrespectful. You will never see a baseball player do that from KC. Reid is losing control.

  10. I hate everything the NFL represents.

Liberal, ESPN type commentary on every play, a sport suffused and inundated with SJW Liberal, talking-head announcers who, extemporaneously would have you accept their condescension and opinion on politics as God's fuckin lips to their ears, thug intellectual midget athletes whose rap sheet offenses are only surpassed by the number of random baby mommas and baby momma chillruns (Derick Thomas), that are running the streets and the insistence by our Progressive "Thought Leaders" in the Press, Hollywood, Colleges and Politics that the ability to run a 4.4 40 yard dash, or dunk a round ball through a hoop is tantamount to winning a Silver Star under machine gun fire.

Quick Twitch Fiber does NOT equal courage, grace and fortitude under duress.

Full disclosure, for many years, I gambled on the NFL with my friends and watched the games.

I am not in recovery, because, it took zero effort to quit, when late to the party, I realized how much the sport had become so political on a cellular basis.

George Stephahortopolus did a report on the ominous threat from the NAACP to quit watching the NFL if Kaperpuke didn't land a gig. LMAO. Not one mention, in the story on ABC the already hemorrhaging ratings decline by way of the intransigent and belligerent arrogance of uneducated, dead between the eyes athletes who are killing their own sport and, hopefully will be picketing for the $15.00 an hour crowd soon.

  11. When I saw this last night on TV during the game, I went to the KC Chiefs website and sent the following e-mail to their "fan feedback"

    Dear Kansas City Chiefs,

As I am sure you are aware, a “trend” that is emerging at NFL games is for some players to refrain from standing for the playing of the Star Spangled Banner prior to games. As I am sitting here this evening watching the Chiefs-Seahawks game, I saw footage of 2 Seahawks players “protesting” the National Anthem; one kneeling and one standing next to him. I also saw one Chiefs player continue to sit on an exercise bike during the playing of the National Anthem.

I’d suggest that, as an organization, the Kansas City Chiefs might want to take careful consideration of how these displays are being perceived by the fan-base, who buys tickets to and attends Chiefs games; as well as by those who watch on television. By many accounts in the news, many fans take exception to these kinds of displays by players; considering it to be disrespectful and in poor taste.

Also, by several news accounts over the past year, television ratings of NFL football games has been in decline; presumably as a result of this. NFL teams like the Kansas City Chiefs are in the business of having fans patronize the team on game days: by purchasing tickets, attending games, and spending money at Arrowhead Stadium while there. It is not good business practice to alienate your customer base; which is what you’d risk happening the longer and more-frequently these player displays happen.

The simplest, and most-effective course of action, I would suggest, would be to perform the National Anthem while the players are still in the locker rooms, before taking the field for the game. Doing it this way is not unusual. It’s been done that way in high school football for as long as I can remember. Also, many colleges do the same; just as a matter of standard procedure.

I would suggest that, as a Chiefs fan, the Chiefs consider this. Because, you certainly don’t want to risk alienating your loyal fan base.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Sincerely,

    ReplyDelete
  12. Just stop playing the national anthem before sporting events. Over-use cheapens it. Save it for patriotic occasions.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Now you see why soccer is gaining ground on the NFL.

    ReplyDelete
  14. 8:30

    Fuck no.

It is a light year past time to flesh out who we are and who we want to be.

Play the anthem and if the athletes want to, as 7:50 brilliantly states it, "Hyperprivileged and coddled narcissists making sure to kick the country that gave them the opportunity right in the nuts." kick the USA in the nuts, then let them. Let the chips fall where they may. The NFL wanted this controversy by providing a workplace that permitted political expression and these athletes, while not sporting much of an IQ, or the prescience to extrapolate the effect of these churlish and childish antics with respect to future anticipated income, have the 1st amendment right to destroy their careers and their chosen profession.

    Bring it...

I say if you hate all America stands for, then pack your ass out of here, we don't want you.

  17. Have you ever heard Marcus Peters speak? He is your typical unintelligent, mealy-mouthed hoodrat. You are talking about a below average IQ that has never had a critical thought in his life. This is not a person that reads and has come to the decision that their is injustice in his life and health must do something about it. He gets his information from the fellow non-MENSA'S on his team and down at the barber shop. Clark Hunt could single-handedly put a stop to it, Jerry Jones did with the Cowboys.

  20. He can protest its his right, and I will protest by not spending one dime on the NFL or any company that advertises with them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Ownership should simply tell them your protest is not welcome here. If you dont want to stand dont come on the field till anthem is over. Your absence is your protest. If you come out on the field and do your bullshit when you do stand just head back to your locker and pack your shit and have security usher them off the property.
Regardless of what player it is

    ReplyDelete
  22. As long as the chicken shit fans put their own desires ahead of stopping this bullshit it will continue. I guarantee it will only take a single Sunday with an empty stadium to get that weasel fuck Clark Hunt to clean up the shit heads on the KC Chiefs team. Good luck finding a KC redneck who stands for a fucking thing.

  26. And the NFL wonders why they are losing ratings and fans. People are tired of everyone being offended and tired of going to or watching sporting events and some player(s) have to make a political statement.

Every pro team should put in each players contract that you stand during the National Anthem and make no signs of protests or get fined. And make it a hefty fine or kick their ass off the team.

What the players and I think the owners seem to forget is that it's the fans that pay these exorbitant salaries and over priced jerseys and other accessories.

So it's time to hit them in the wallets, quit buying NFL gear and stop watching the games and they'll get the message

I haven't watched a pre-season game yet and after reading this news story I won't watch any game this year. Screw these players and these owners who won't take a stand. The owners should fire Goodell and try to salvage what they can, but they won't

    ReplyDelete
  27. I wonder if we put an amputee, double amputee, triple amputee and quadruple amputee veterans in front of these players if they have the guts to bring their political b.s. to a non political event. I myself am tired of the politics interfering with any event I'm watching while I'm trying to escape politics. I only a few precious hours of free time a weekend and would really like for it to be politics free.

He doesn't have to stand if he doesn't want to.

You can't make someone have patriotic feelings, & you can't expect non-whites to get all warm & fuzzy over "America". Not with a white supremacist in the oval office.

The Kaperenick's use the Flag and the Star Spangled Banner as a way to draw attention to whatever the hell it is they are pissed about that day... They KNOW it is important so they use it to their advantage.. PETERS however acts like it doesn't even matter and pedals his bike like it doesn't matter... I'm done turning on the TV every game to see some clowns disrespecting the very Flag that allows them to make their giant salary's and protest inequality?? Its your right? If I do dumb stuff at my job I get fired. Conduct unbecoming... If I was a Hunt ID pay them but they would never play a down.. ever.... till they quit. I am sorry they feel they have it so bad... I don't have anything against anyone, white black red or yellow. I do have something against , lazy, stupid, unintelligent, uninformed, entitled assholes. That's from the NFL player that hears one side of a story to the loser that's collecting assistance from the government that is too lazy to work. Ill go defend your sorry asses, Ill go to work so you don't have to.. But I wont watch the NFL... BYE....

  32. OK - some NFL players take a knee during the national anthem and they are blasted for not standing. Another NFL player stands but bows his head and raises a fist during the anthem. He is also blasted. Do we need the "anthem police" to check on the proper position for the anthem. Standing, hands on heart, eyes on flag? And what about the people watching at home? Should they also be assuming the proper stance? How do we check on them?

And what about a prayer? Should we start each athletic competition with a prayer? Which prayer? Should we rotate the type of prayer, but not include Muslims or any other group that does not adhere to the White Christian ethos?

    Folks -- it's a GAME, not a religious gathering.
