Former CFO pleads guilty to embezzling $6.5M from KC company - Kansas City Business Journal
Douglas Ferrell, who was CFO for Scarbrough International Ltd. in Kansas City, pleaded guilty to embezzling $6.5 million. Ferrell could get 30 years in federal prison without parole, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Missouri said in a Thursday release. He pleaded guilty to wire fraud and money laundering.
