Tom Valenti was back in Mission this week, lobbying City Council members to support the most recent version of his plan - and the public incentives he says he must have to advance the project.

    This clown just picked the wrong bunch of rubes to try to fleece.
    He should have headed for KCMO an 12th and Oak.
    Be sure to mention what a great leader Sly is, find a few grand to toss into the campaign kitty, and be sure to mention that the streetcar played a big big part in your decision to create an upscale "development" in KCMO.

  5. If the Mission city fathers (or mothers) go along with this guy, they are even dumber than I thought. Mission has a whole office complex along Metcalf that is empty. Why would anyone think that somebody would move into this one? I want to see signed leases or letters of intent from legitimate businesses. Would you like to bet that he can produce them? I'll give you great odds.
