Metro family left longing for closure after jury is deadlocked a second time in daughter's murder trial

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- For the second time a murder trial for 22-year old Kelsey Ewonus ended in a hung jury. On Thursday jurors left the Wyandotte County Courthouse with a split decision as to weather to convict Antoine Fielder for her murder.



Man charged in death of 22-year-old has second trial end with hung jury

A man charged with murder in connection with the death of a young woman in 2015 has had both his trials end with hung juries. Antione Fielder, who was 27 in 2015, was charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of 22-year-old Kelsey K. Ewonus.

    Blacks will NOT convict BLACKS. That is why Peters takes so many pleas.

      That's not nullification. Nullification is when you vote with the accused because you believe the law is wrong. What blacks do when they won't convict their own is a priest but it's not nullification.

  4. Imagine if the races were reversed here. Where are the hate crime charges? Why does the media downplay this as a racial killing? They wouldn't if the races were reversed.
