The Kansas City Early Saturday

Classic Lucy starts our Saturday morning and for this quick look at Kansas City links.

Season Of KC Football Hype Almost Here

Juggernaut Index, No. 18: Chiefs offer playmakers, dynamic rookies, same old Alex Smith

On draft night, Kansas City traded this year's first and third-round picks plus a 2018 first-rounder to Buffalo for the No. 10 overall selection, which the team used on rocket-armed Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes. So the Alex Smith era in KC will soon end - we can't say exactly when, but it's happening.

Golden Ghetto Equine Disaster

Horses missing after flash flooding destroys barn in Overland Park

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Thursday's flash flooding displaced more than businesses and residents. The rushing waters may have created the means for a great escape for some horses where a barn was destroyed in Southern Johnson County. Normally when Sherra Schuck comes to her Overland Park farm, her two horses greet her in the pasture.

Raytown Robbery Repeat

Raytown indoor soccer facility burglarized for third time

RAYTOWN, Mo. - A Raytown business owner is hoping surveillance footage will help identify a man who broke into Soccer One KC and stole snacks and clothing. Christian Escobar opened the indoor soccer complex over a year ago. However, his business has been broken into three times.

JoCo Doggie Blame Game

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Six years ago Jessica Danon and her companion, Jared Anderson couldn't resist a certain cute face and those bight, blue eyes. KCK Marketing Lesson

It's Time to Rebrand the Block

Not to get remotely biblical, but for me, it all started with a rib bone. OK, there was more than one rib - a couple of side dishes might have been involved, too. That's how I discovered my new favorite block near downtown Kansas City, Kansas: Fifth and Central Avenue in Wyandotte County.

More Deets On The Moose

Kansas City Royals: Moose Hits Number 30 in Win

For the Kansas City Royals there should be a new name on top of the homerun leader list very soon. Mike Moustakas is getting closer everyday it seems. Moose hit long ball number 30 on the year tonight in Boston. By doing so he became the fastest player in team history to 30 big flys.

Julia Michaels - Uh Huh is the song of the day and this is the OPEN THREAD for right now . . .

Lucy is fat but she would be a nice change of pace from banging married Joco women who are a little too skinny.

Sounds like these dogs are mean and you should be keeping your gates locked you stupid broad.

If it had killed my cat I'd be suing her for sure.

"Police search for car chase suspect in Independence"

Good to hear IPD was able to apprehend someone for failing to signal a lane change without sending them into cardiac arrest with a taser or the officers shooting each other. Congratulations IPD! Thanks God IPD is not required to have any State accreditation whatsoever or they would have to disband.
